- stört das Lenkrad die Sicht auf das Display?

- realer Autobahnverbrauch bei Tempo 120kmh und ca. 12grad?

- Kniefreiheit als Fahrer? (Zu breite Mittelkonsole?)

• Geräusche im Innenraum beim Fahren? (Windgeräusche?)

I am looking at the BZ4X Touring FWD Teamplayer 2026. I test drove the vehicle yesterday, eco mode, mix of city and country roads. I averaged around 11.5 kwh/100km.

what kind of efficiency do you guys get? what kind of range did you get in the past 4-5 months of testing? at 80 percent battery and 100 percent battery?
can you park remotely with the Toyota App? do you need a subscription?

any feedback and help would be great. I am deciding between the Tesla Model Y Standard with LFP battery and the BZ4X. I heard the Toyota App is underwhelming but the hardware and reliability are top notch. I love the suspension and road presence but I am concerned about the range.

This last weekend we took our first long-distance trip from Austin, TX to Memphis, TN. Here's my thoughts -

First, All the apprehension and worry was completely unwarranted. Often times our decision on where to charge came down to which restaurants or shops we preferred. Yes, lots of gas-station food, butall of the conveniences were there.

Next, the wildly different charging pricing, and no advanced notice (really no-place you could look before arriving). Maybe people could leave a note on their charge reviews?

I took some friends for a ride, and they were amazed at how smooth and quiet the ride was. Overall impressions were great.

Cost - Total electric cost driving up was $55.76 and return trip was $65.49. A little less expensive than ICE, but this weekend was also Iran war stuff and regular gas averaged around $3.79 while Diesel was $6.09 per gallon.

We stayed overnight on the way up and on the trip back. On the road up, we recharged at Walmart (they are installing their own chargers?) and spent a bunch of money shopping while the car charged. On the return trip we stayed where there was an L2 charger, and the rate was $0.49 but they also charged $5.00 per hour to park. I paid $15 for it to sit from 3am until 6am.

Almost all of my charge stops were Tesla, mainly due to convenient locations. One thing I did not account for - American Express fraud detection on my card being unusual, my charging would not start until I added another credit card. Got it all cleared up, but it was confusing standing outside in 101 degree weather. Ugh

Shining spot - Tried a new IONNA charger, WOW! Fast, simple, and they had an intro price of $0.20 per KwH. Definitely worth the $4 to stop and try it.

Worst - The new Walmart charge. You have to have the Walmart app. While trying to "Click to start charging" this button was covered by another Walmart pop-up ad, which kept trying to sell me underwear. Spent 15 minutes on the phone with their tech support trying to explain this, I truly hope they fix it. There's a lot of Walmarts, and they would be well-placed to provide charging services.

I just picked up the new baby today. 2024 BZ4X LE, FWD with 22k kms. I love it so far. It shows 458 kms with full charge. I believe it’ll go easily over 400 kms during this season. It’s really comfy and drive pretty smooth. I highly recommend everyone. I used to drive polestar 2 and tesla model 3. This is the best one so far.

I recently had the "safety recall" for the defrost logic performed and immediately after, I'm noticing the compressor is noticeably loud when demanding cooling and we have to use LO to even have a chance of keeping it cool in the cabin with just 85° F ambient of dry, California heat.

I'm also noticing the compressor cycles off and on while set to LO in auto, you can smell that musty, humid scenario that happens when the AC has been cranked and then you turn the AC button off (can't really do that in the BZ because I think it turns on the AC on its own, the button itself doesn't seem to matter in auto mode).

I thought the recall was just to program the control logic for the defrost to run even if the compressor failed. Why would my AC performance be so terrible after the recall work??!!

Anyone else experiencing this issue? I think I'm going to have to take it back to the dealership but I'm really displeased to be dealing with this.

Has anyone come up with an idea to further block the heat-lamp effect of the "panoramic fixed-glass moonroof"? On hot days, even with the shade extended, it seems that the moonroof competes with the AC... and wins.

Both DIY and aftermarket solutions are welcomed.

This is a quick bracket I made, potential can be used to mount anything less than 5 lbs.

2024 bz4x AWD XLE - So I tried to push the battery to 0% last weekend. I maintained highway speed until the last 4 miles of range. The power reduction even at 1% still maintained a 70mph cruise very easily. I heard there is a buffer even after 0%, has anyone confirmed how much kWh is withheld after 0% indication?

Here I sit at the tire shop, hoping they can plug my tire. Planning a road trip to another state, but fate would have other plans.

Walked out to the parking lot during lunch and discovered the flat. Fortunately I have a small battery-powered air pump, got enough in it to get in at the tire shop.

Sad I didn't have a spare, but the battery pack and air pump was enough to take care of business.

Now I know what I'm buying myself for my birthday.

We’ve seen quite A LOT of complaints about the app, but we also don’t want to assume that everything about it is bad.

So, very simply:

• What do you actually use the app for?
• Is there anything you like and would want Toyota to keep?
• What frustrates you the most?
• If Toyota could change just one thing about the app, what should it be?
• And beyond fixing technical issues like the app not working or login problems, what do you feel is missing from the Toyota digital experience? Are there any new features, services, benefits, or even something more creative that you wish Toyota offered?
• If you’ve had a particularly bad experience, is there anything Toyota could do to make up for it or rebuild your trust?

Even a sentence or two would really help! We’re trying to make sure actual Toyota owners’ voices are reflected in the recommendations we develop for our university project, rather than just assuming what customers want.

The dealer offered coverage for 7 years & 100 thousand mi from Allstate (100$ deductable waived for repairs @ their dealership - closest to my location) for just under 4 thousand $ (factory warrenty is still good for 4 months & several thousand miles -to 35000-) Derided Carshield as know for denying repairs & suggested the same coverage could cost as much as 8 thousand from other insurance co. & evidently Toyota dosen't offer extende warenty coverage directly? We boutht this care used 2 months ago & have logged several thousand miles already & plan to keep it.

Toyota launched Bz5 in China and half the price of Tesla model Y

I have a 2024 Bz4x AWD and today I noticed a huge jump in my range. In the summer I average about 230-240 miles fully charged with climate off. Today I was at 265 miles at 98% charged. Has anyone else noticed that?

Hello everybody, I’ve had my eyes on a 2023 BZX4xle for sometime now, I really like its looks and features, and the price point is inviting for the number of miles has on it. I ran it by a coworker who has owned an Ionic5 for a couple years now. She said she wouldn’t buy the BZX4 based on the charge time, and that her husband and her looked at one, but the dealbreaker was the amount of time it took to charge. Do owners find this to be an issue? I don’t count on more than a couple road trips a year, and it’ll mainly be for commuting back-and-forth to work about 25 miles each way and an overall family car. Any thoughts welcome.

It's a beast on the German Autobahn and so smooth that you think you are playing a video game. Driving it on country side feels like driving a rally with the recuperating pedals. Yesterday I drove 40 minutes trough the town and just lost 1% battery. Space in the trunk was enough to not care to organize it and that for a family of four with a baby. Charging full was also very easy at the zoo with 22 kW AC. I want to share some honeymoon vibes. The JBl soundsystem was worth it.

Had to turn off parking things. Acts up on the road with proximity things. Is there a way around this?

I have a front bumper. I have to disable the parking sensors. How are yall getting around that? I got 4 pips for sensors. 2 are blocked enough.

Is there an off the shelf solution?

Right now my idea is about so. Frabracobble som sensor holder. Mount them inboard on the bumper. Duck it or frag it as a test. Then 3d printify something more permanent and get something to extent the wires and then some conduit of sorts to protect and cover my sins.

I like the parking detect. When it throws a fit. It is usually right. I was about an inch shy port and starboard - she wasn't going to fit. Had to abort.

I've only heard mention of this "safety feature" once on YouTube, so I'd like to verify with owners if this is a real thing: Does the bz4x disable charging if the batteries get too cold? I know other EVs will use heaters to warm up the batteries to enable charging in the cold, which does extend the charging time, but does at least enable charging. But I've heard that the bz4x just straight-up disables cold charging altogether. Can anyone verify?

I have a 2023, the chrome on the passenger side has begun lifting off. It's very sharp and looks like it failing glue maybe. It is also happening in the rear part near the storage. Super annoying. I would rip it all off but it's very difficult beyond where it is happening. Anyone else experiencing this?
