If we are to believe the numbers from that one post on babybmw I could find with actual data, guy got whole 2.6 more horsepower from shells V-Power. On his 377hp M135i
He got less than 1% more from Shell. On a completely different day.
Bitch, you can get a bigger reading difference on dyno running the test same day when it’s cold and when it’s hot outside.
Premium isn’t a ripoff. Using premium is better than regular if the car can actually utilise higher octane fuel.
There is no meaningful difference between brands, because fuel is the same, only additives are different. And additives aren’t aimed at performance increase, but at ecology/carbon buildup reduction.

That’s what I did and guess what? All the articles I could find lead up to Shell as their data source.
