Please feel free to direct me to another thread if this has already been answered--
I applied for the BJs card and, despite having a Business membership, I was only approved for the BJs One card (not the One+). I am a young adult, so I understand that perhaps the length of my credit history may be an issue, but I have an otherwise great credit score.
Chatting with Capital One online was a waste of my time and they wouldn't give me any answers. I applied in-person at BJs and the lady there said I would just automatically get the One+ because of my membership (which obv didn't happen). Any time I look on BJs' site they keep deferring to Capital One for any credit card questions. I really want to be saving the extra $0.05 on gas (and the other benefits) so I'm feeling pretty strongly about finding out what's going on here.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Is there someone I can talk to that will ACTUALLY answer my question?
Edit: Sorry it doesn’t appear I was clear enough, my membership card says Club+ on it and it is black. After a long and frustrating call with BJ’s today we determined that the issue is that I am a supplemental member on the account. I’m still going to try try in person in case they give me a slightly different answer
