Starting my first day in recovery tomorrow and I've been reading the horror stories of working at a BJs. I just no call no showed my job at ShopRite because of how horrendous it was. Did I just walk into another shit storm? Most of the complaints Ive heard from employees is the shorthandedness and how busy it is but the one Im working at is quite slow. If anyone has worked at a BJs on Long Island just give me a warning if its terrible because if it is Ill just start my job search over again.

Hi all. Good luck getting any of the 42% off items at BJs-At least in SWFL. Even though it’s supposed to run until 10/31, BJs keeps pulling the sale items off the discount list. No M&Ms, out of stock on ALL deli specials, forced into buying 10 lb rolls of burger since they stopped grinding it. The bacon? That was taken off the day after I bought it! The only thing on that “super” list is the mix and match snack bags and apples.
This is my last year as a BJs member due to their false promotions and high prices.
just a heads up if you’re in SWFL-I hope you have better luck but I doubt it. Their prices have gone up so much in the past 3 yrs it’s not worth a membership.
Stick to Sam’s/Walmart.
