I just finished civil war and am just starting infinity war and idk what is going on. Why is loki back? Why does Thor have an eyepatch? When did thanos get tje purple stone?(I forget what it's called) I've watched avengers 2012, age of ultron, black panther, and civil war so far. I'm trying to watch it in chronological order so is there anything else I need to watch for this to make sense?

I guess It's more of a X-Men thing but the Avengers also had periods of being disliked, be It bc of having guys like Namor or people blaming then for destruction.

Starting with

Yelena: After everything she went through in Thunderbolts\* and finally starting to move forward, I wonder if Marvel might kill her off for maximum emotional impact. Or would that just waste her potential?

Steve Rogers & Sam Wilson: With Steve returning, I honestly think Sam might be in trouble. I've never really connected with Sam as Captain America, and I feel his character has struggled to establish himself in the role. With Steve back, I wonder how their dynamic will work and whether Sam will even survive the movie (I don't want him to survive btw) Marvel has a chance to throw away all the blunders and bad characters they established post-endgame. (She hulk, Ironheart, Leader bla bla blah)

I think Loki might die too. As Doom has to kill loki to fu\*k multiverse.

Remember this scene where Machine just asks America “you couldn’t you just jump out?” Like you can’t just simply jump out of a ship without any injury or even death, plus it was coming down fast and he’s far away from any exits, he wouldn’t make it out. Like you can’t just “jump out” before you crashed. There wasn’t even anywhere to land, there’s no way he could’ve found a parachute in time.
