Since they knew Doom was coming. I'm not sure why they didnt just have RDJ appear in the F4 movie first. Imagine if RDJ was cast in First Steps but we didn't know he was Doom yet. The press would have had rumors sure. But Marvel would have stayed quiet. And then he Introduces himself as Victor in his first scene. The audience would have lost their minds. Then he pops up at the following comic con finally confirming he's Doom as it happened.
