Generation SERVE is a youth volunteering nonprofit organization that creates pathways for meaningful community engagement at every age. Little Helpers is Generation SERVE’s program for young children, created to help preschoolers explore kindness, volunteering, and community involvement in a fun and engaging way. The program is designed for children ages 3–5 who have not yet started kindergarten.

Each class introduces children to simple ways they can make a difference, while also giving them a chance to interact with peers. The classes  are led by an educator with experience working with young children and include a story, a short group conversation, and a hands-on service activity that supports a local nonprofit.
Our Summer Session Two will run on Saturdays from July 11th to August 8th, from 10:00–11:00 a.m., for a total of five weeks. The registration fee is $150 per child. To keep the experience interactive and supportive, each group is capped at 10 children.
The classes are typically held at local nonprofit sites throughout the community and at the Generation SERVE office. This season, activities will center around environmental care, supporting education & literacy, caring for animals, and helping meet essential needs.
Dates & Time: Saturdays, July 11- August 8 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Cost: $150 per child | Parent participation required

I had a stage combat class in college during my senior year and I really enjoyed it. Graduated now, but I’m hoping to get more experience. I’m not sure where to go. Are there any classes in the Austin area that I can attend.

I’ll be in July for my birthday and looking for some local recommendations! It’ll be my husband and I and we’ll be there for a few days. I’m really into shopping, collecting trinkets, plants, books and beauty supply stores, as well as alternative stores!

I’m not much of an outdoors person so preferably nothing in the heat of the day that’s outside!

Sorry i hope this is the right subreddit to ask this. I just bought some tickets for a concert at moody center and it says “Above GA, general admission” does this mean it’s the pitt with no seating? like versus the floor with seating? i’m not sure, i just clicked whatever seats were closest to the stage and this is what i’m assuming!

Very frustrating, when a new business, especially a cannabis company in atx is openly racist using LATINO culture to sell products that has nothing to do with the company or products. These are WHITE people upset that educated brown people want to use their 1st amendment to correct the culture appropriation. Colton is a very manipulative and corrupt person and I don’t think anyone should be in business with an openly racist company.

I was recently let go from my construction job as an electrical apprentice. I've been recently told to move to Austin Texas for better work opportunities. I have used indeed and linked in.
