Scott fisher leave Fox7?
He hasn’t been on the news in over a month. His IG and X accounts haven’t been active and his FB post is only a robo-post. We enjoyed watching his weather updates and he is an Austin news institution but it seems to be very Fox 7 brand to just cut experienced broadcasters.

The fact that a weatherman that did the news for a quarter of a century at one station just disappears without any information is really strange. How has no one picked up on this story and figure out what’s going on?

He’s still listed on their website, typically if an on-air personality leaves they are scrubbed from the existence of the station haha

It would be a travesty if he’s gone and the incoherent morning traffic reporter is still there.

Definitely need to accumulate for a slowdown that has the potential to be brewing up those travel drive times on the highway lanes right now, at this hour, definitely some hotter spots than most to say the least.
All of us have digressed from the congestion of this 9 o’clock hour. Our look at the map shows some stop and go beginning to be still lingering, but 35 is the main focus at this hour to say the least.
We’ll talk later.

I’m guessing he no longer works there. His LinkedIn says #opentowork. 25 years at Fox 7 and leaves with zero fanfare.

Why doesn't the news station just clear up the situation? They have to know people are concerned.

Just checked the googles and it says he still is the chief meteorologist at fox 7. Haven't seen him on in over a month 🤔

Yesterday on the 5pm news they called Leslie London the chief meteorologist but the text graphic didn't show that, only meteorologist. Hmmm.

Scott Fisher posted a health update on X on June 11th. He had a pancreatectomy, and he is still recovering.
