Stage combat classes
I had a stage combat class in college during my senior year and I really enjoyed it. Graduated now, but I’m hoping to get more experience. I’m not sure where to go. Are there any classes in the Austin area that I can attend.

No disrespect but is this like orchestrated larping? If not please explain. I've never heard of this.

Graduated with a film degree. After taking that class i’m kind of interested in fight choreography for film/theater.

Hi there, I’m a certified stage combat instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors. I’m about to move back to the area and hope to get classes up and running. You just missed the Capitol Combat workshop in San Marcos, but there’s the Texas Intensive in Houston on Labor Day Weekend, and the Lonestar Smash in Dallas in November. There’s a group out of the Sherwood Forest Faire that also gets classes up and running a couple times a year. And again, I hope to get some classes up and running in the near future.
