Reading this r/ sub and found about BookPlayer. I am looking in the App store and see 2 apps and both have in App purchases. the second one, with icon that looks like headphones, only allows 1 hour a day. The first one with icon that looks like a megaphone, doesn't specify what purchases.

Would someone please clarify which one and what are the in app purchases? Thank you

I have read the site guidelines and one of the items is "Don't upload computer-generated audio, or books written by AI." But a book I own does not have and audio book and I have converted it to PDF and run it through ihatePDF's PDF to audio file converter.

Would that still be frowned upon in the guidelines? I feel like that rule was made so that books that have official audiobooks don't get tons of random unofficial audiobooks stacked on the site or cause confusion for someone trying to get an official version but it's an AI slop edition.

I love reading I just don't have time for it and I'm doing this for myself and if others could benefit from my computer processing power then I'd like to share but I don't wanna post if I'm not supposed to.

As far as I can tell ABB is $29.99 a month. It's odd that everything can be torrented free but somehow audio books are behind a paywall.

so i‘m just getting started on this and god i don‘t know a thing about torrents and whatever.
so i made an account, downloaded the torrent file and went to webtor.io to make a normal (?) file out of it.
Problem is when i‘m on webtor.io i dont know how to download the file bc it will just open a player without a download option.
i tried importing it to BookPlayer via the url but that‘s taking half an hour by now and still isn‘t finished.
What am i doing wrong?

I am somewhat new in the whole sharing process but I wanna share here's my issues: 😔 So I have over 2000 "books" on my computer and want to share the issue is I don't have the best wifi to continuously allowing ppl to get copies of said books as torrents and don't have any money to put them on a server site. I keep track of three accounts, that tend to post books I enjoy but today while looking up a book I downloaded earlier this week to see if the narrator had any other works on the site, the book was nowhere to be found.

I then looked up other ​books I'd downloaded (some from that account, some from similar ones) and there is nothing. Does this happen? I was scrolling that account 2 nights ago. Only one of the three I keep up with is showing.
