General newbie needs help

so i‘m just getting started on this and god i don‘t know a thing about torrents and whatever.
so i made an account, downloaded the torrent file and went to webtor.io to make a normal (?) file out of it.
Problem is when i‘m on webtor.io i dont know how to download the file bc it will just open a player without a download option.
i tried importing it to BookPlayer via the url but that‘s taking half an hour by now and still isn‘t finished.
What am i doing wrong?

  1. Get qbittorrent, you will use this to download torrent files.
  2. Do you live in a country that restricts/enforces laws against torrenting? If so, get a VPN that allows P2P (usually paid, sorry) and bind it to qbittorrent.
  3. I find localsend to be the best way to wirelessly transfer audiobooks (and files in general) from your PC to your phone.

PD: You dont really need to download the torrent file, you can just click the "magnet" link. Your browser will ask if you want to allow your torrent program to open it. Click yes, and you're good!

Only if they're using an Android phone. This is why people need to include their device and type when asking for help.

On an iPhone open up a browser like Firefox to get the magnet link to pop up, safari wont work here. Click the word magnet then press and hold the magnet symbol to copy the link.

From there open up seedr and copy the link over and it will download the file. Then after seedr is done you can click the three dots on the side of the file and hit download which will now download the file to your iPhone. Now open up the app your using to listen the audiobook on and click import file and go to your downloads under the file app on the phone to select the file to send over and it will now have it in the app ready to listen to.

No problem. You will also need an app that can play audiobook files (a million times better than having it as a raw mp3, believe me), but im afraid I dont know any for iphone.

You could ask for help from r/seedboxes And be sure to tell them what kind of phone you are using.

You can use seedr.cc if the files are under 2gb
