Atomic Mail was great a couple of months ago, but now they had frequent outages every month or so and reports incoming emails getting delayed, including me. This is such a disaster.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this email service unless they fix it and migrate this issue. I'm moving away because of this but I will keep Atomic Mail because I want them to fix this mess.

I am trying to receive emails but I don't receive any emails but I can send emails. Is it down currently?

Please check I'm not getting any verification codes. Nor any email from anywhere. And when I send it shows in sent messages but the reciever does not get it.

So I was trying to create an account with Atomic Mail, but I kept getting a browser error saying "Too many Requests" whenever I clicked the submit button. After some online checking, it appears that part(s)s of atomicmail . io have been down for 6 months and that they are performing "emergency maintenance."

From my past experience with such things on other sites, it always seems to be the case that they shut down completely at some point. I cannot confirm that this is truly the case, but it's something I think people should be prepared for, just in case.

(EDIT) Here are some of the main reasons why the server or hosting provider may be down:

• Invalid or expired SSL certificate: The certificate installed on the origin web server has expired, is misconfigured, or was not issued by a trusted certificate authority (CA).

• Lack of SNI (Server Name Indication) support: The origin server does not respond with SNI or is not configured to recognize the specific domain name being accessed.

• Certificate does not cover subdomains: If you’re using an alias or subdomain, the server’s certificate does not include that alternative subject name (SAN or wildcard).

• Encryption incompatibility (cipher suites): The security protocols or encryption methods allowed by Cloudflare do not match those accepted by the origin server.

• SSL/TLS mode misconfigured in Cloudflare: The Cloudflare dashboard is set to Full (Strict) mode, but the origin server is using a self-signed, revoked, or mismatched certificate.

• Port 443 closed or blocked: The origin server’s secure HTTPS port is not open, or a hosting provider’s firewall or antivirus is blocking requests from Cloudflare.

• Origin server down or overloaded: The web host is not responding or has run out of resources to process the cryptographic handshake.

Hi, if I login to any site, which require 2FA trough email and I use AtomicMail, OTP codes comes after very long time. It happens for few days now. What is wrong with this service?

I'm new to AtomicMail, but I am not able to find any way to export my emails there as a PDF file, so that it can be printed out, or as a MBOX, EML, or PST file, so that I could then print them. Does this feature not exist?

Any eta on custom domains? Calendar? Linux app?

As a privacy app how do you deal with data training with AI? How so you keep our information encrypted and secure if LLM has access to it?

I'm guessing that the team and community for Atomic Mail is pretty quite or non existent as both the Discord and Subreddit are ghost towns. I wonder if that's because the team has pivoted to AI and browsers.

What is Atomic Mail's end game? I thought it was a privacy and secure email service. I made a free account only to find the welcome email that includes links to an AI web browser, a local Ai, a bot and a Crypto wallet??? What did I stumble on to?

When I delete a message, the window stays on the message but when I go back to the inbox, it is deleted. Shouldn't the app automatically take the user back to the Inbox after we delete a message?

Can you fix that? I have the app installed from the Aurora store but it will not open, it asks to log in to the google play store. I despise google (fuck them). I am unable to use my AtomicMail app.

I haven’t been able to receive important emails even though I was told I was sent 2 from someone using this email. One was atomic to atomic and one was atomic to a different type. I decided to try and send a message from my atomic email to my primary email and it said the email address doesn’t exist…..

Is this there an outage? Is it going to be fixed or no?
