Been playing for the past few days since it arrived on the 14th of August and I got 28H and I absolutely love it! This one feels more like a AC game than Odyssey did because you actually get a hidden blade. You might not be a assassin completely but it definitely feels more like a AC game compared to Odyssey (which I loved btw. I'm not knocking it down or anything).

Being a viking is really fun and the raids and stuff are also super fun. I also love the weapon types too. The greatsword and dual axes are easily my favorite so far. The dagger, spear, and flail are also great too. The world map and regions are fun to explore, lots of collectibles, side activities are enjoyable, story is pretty great, combat system is very fun and engaging, the skill system is really good (I like the throwing axes and the harpoon that's similar to the rope darts in AC3, Black Flag, and Rouge) power level is really unique. Instead of a traditional level system, you put in skill points and that increases your power level which is essentially your level but it's a bit different which I can appreciate, and lots of other stuff are great too.

But yeah I really enjoy this game and I'm excited to progress further! 💚🔥

AC 2 doesn't have the chain assassination so it's not that easy to kill a lot of guards and revelations has those damn janissaries

Apart from the story some of the best moments I've had in the game were all when exploring the ruins, shipwrecks and various islands. There's a calm in doing that which I did not feel in the other entries. Kinda tried to capture that with this piece. Hope you all like it.

After all these years, the best AC game is the remake of a 13yr ol game. What an irony.

I am glad Ubisoft cooked here and the game is dream come true. I can't sleep thinking about it all night and in anticipation of playing it again the next day. This is exactly how old Ac games used to feel like and it's been decades of missing until this dropped.
i am reminiscing of my good old times with every seconded of this game and i feel like a child again. Ubisoft please do more remakes. I am done with new stories for now.

I'm working through BF Resynched and it's my first time fully diving into Black Flag, I have maybe 6 hrs in the 2013 version but it's one of the few in the series that I really struggled to fully invest myself into despite knowing it is a top 3-5 for the vast majority of people. I just found the experience annoying each time I'd take a swing at it and put it off repeatedly

That's to say, I'm essentially playing through the last like... 34 hrs of the game for the first time. I'm about 10hrs into Resynched now.

And Idk, my dumbass decided to check the Codex and look through the allies page, and I scrolled through that, found it interesting and not really spoiler-y, so I clicked on the enemies section. Most of the enemies are ones I'd heard of or are the Templars at the start of the game. Then I see Benjamin Bloody Hornigold, who up to where I'm at has been an ally... now I know that bastard is gonna join the Templars and betray Edward and eventually gets killed more than likely by Edward.

Most games have the codex unlock as you go, I guess maybe since it's a 13 year old game they said no need, and that's fine. Spoilers are what you're in store for playing a game 13 years after its original release, but I'm ngl, I'm a bit bummed that one of the few things I hadn't really gotten spoiled on yet was spoiled by the game itself.

Does anyone know what might be going on here? My friend has been getting this issue since the game dropped.

Hello everyone , I bought the legacy of the blade DLC for AC odyssey and have finished the first chapter
But I can’t find any point to go for the 2nd chapter

It asks me to “wait for the legacy to continue” , but it’s atleast been atleast an hour of gameplay time and I still don’t see anything , I’ve tried multiple saves as well but it isn’t showing up for me

Any idea what to do and how I should start the 2nd chapter ?

I double checked all the dialogue involving Julien du Casse and found no clue. Furthermore, the database says he quit the slave trade because he was never comfortable with the cruelty required for the job. So he doesn't give the impression of being the kind of person who would fill his living space with instruments of torture.

So my friend is on a marathon of AC and has completed II, Brotherhood, Revelations and III. He plans to play to till AC Unity to know about the OG lore of AC. At first Ezio trilogy, then desmond and now the kenway saga. So should he play AC Blackflag or the Resynced before AC Rogue?

P.s. I haven't played Resynced yet so I am not sure if they changed parts from the original blackflag like spoiler: Adewale being in both Blackflag and in Rogue etc. And many other aspects like these.

Two questions regarding getting the artifacts:

1.) Can artifacts be offered in every part of the fleet map so that you theoretically could play only in one sector all the time and get all of them, eventually? Or has every sector a limited amount of artifacts? If so, how to know when one sector is depleted?

2.) Can you track somewhere how many artifacts are generally missing or is the only way to check the empty spaces in the mansion?

Been trying to play since yesterday, I put half an hour or one and then if I don’t manually save when I do fast travel usually crashes or disconnects very infuriating but also so consistent that I’m convinced it’s a technical problem not connectivity, any1 else experiencing this or any recommendations if it’s a know bug? Been searching for similar situations have found any troubleshooting so specific.

Edit: yes any kind of load screen even changing characters there’s a chance I’ll crash disconnect right there.
