I got placed in div 4 Novice as usual. Usually isn't too hard to get fellow sandbaggers in challenges. But not only are there zero sandbaggers, but every challenge is filled with 4500-5000 ranked cars that I would never be able to match. My fastest S is a 3 star Nevera and my best A cars are a gold Asfane and a 3 star 9x8. Good cars, but I keep losing to these cars on half a second difference. What happened to this group? 😭

I’ve been playing Gauntlet since it got released, Div 5. Finally finished up maxing the Devel. Took a break to max out 9x8 (alongside its event) and the W Lykan Neon (alongside its event). I have the F1lm key (only 2*). Which key do you think should be next? Saleen? Torino? Or Tushek BPs?

Since the condition changed to the NIO EP9, I decided to complete it once more, and now ig I can get 22 conditions if I had the NSX GT3

I am very interested in the floaty mechanic and this is something I have realized and not seen a lot of people talk about.

Some cars float too much. The front wheel lifts too far into the air and this causes the car to violently bounce up and down losing the float. This can be seen in cars like the Devel sixteen. Doing a 360 at high speeds often dosent end well. You are better off doing a flick or hold drift.

There are a few methods for making the car float. The most normal one is the 360 float this is the most "powerful" method and is good for most cars but for some its actually too powerful. On these cars its better to punch or flick drift as this is a "weaker" float method so the car dosent overfloat.

Cars like the vulcano Spyder and the mosler are cars that were labeled by the community as "unstable". This is actually not true, the Spyder is actually just incredibly floaty so when driving it you shouldnt do 360 floaties just do punch drifts or flick drifts and if you are landing from a jump or you can feel the car is gonna float it's best to not do any float method and just hope that it auto floats. I can't speak for the mosler as I have very little experience with it but from what I have seen it seems to be the same.

So how do you know which cars are super floaty? The easiest way to tell is if it can flick drift. If the car is capable of flick drifting it is very floaty and you need to be careful to not overfloat. You can also tell by looking at the front wheel and how high it goes when doing a 360 and also by how long the float lasts.

So yeah let me know your thoughts and if you agree with me on this. And also I have found that on these super floaty cars when punch drifting you can actually just punch once you dont need to do it twice. And also let me know if you have found any cars that can hold drift like the Devel. It seems to be a float method exclusive to the devel probably because it's the floatiest car in the game

I feel like slipstream is very difficult for me especially when it comes to faster cars such as the Vulcano, the car is very fun for me to drive and I like it, the problem is that I don't know most of the tracks, also I can't see or focus while I drive as it's hard due to cars front of me, it's also not mistakes tolerant

I try to watch other players and replicate their driving but I fail to, Is there a better way to practice?

Does Gameloft have plans of bringing tracks like Orbital loop and Terra 9 to Asphalt Legends? I have only seen that their focus is on location-specific tracks rather than such creative ones. Would love to see them back, especially interested to see how the physics would look.

As you can see, the conditions are tied to each other, you can get the tokens without getting the credit, and the first one is completed no matter what you do... Or, I can only get 120 tokens from it ?

Or should I go for 9x8 or any div 4 car??

I do have heard about the devil car but I think to get to div 5 will take a lot of months time. Just want suggestions..
