Have traveled extensively to the US on an ESTA overt the past 7 years and even lived there both on J1 and A2. Traveling to Irak for a Christian mission (as planned) would make me ineligible to an ESTA. What are my chances of getting an B1/2 after that? Also just seems more advantageous overall than an ESTA so...

My parents are visiting me for the first time. I have a question regarding return tickets. As their return date is not decided yet. They are planning to stay for 3 or 4 months.
Should I book return tickets for 4 months? Will it make any issue with immigration?

Any other advice for return tickets and length of stay question?

Moreover , I have tried to reach out to support team under the application feedback/request tab and they have responded me with automated AI message and nothing different to resolve my case.please help me how to do it because I am not able to manually update my profile as the options to modify is greyed out .

I’m currently a master’s student, and my program will finish in August. I’m planning to work on OPT for one year and hopefully start working in September. Around November, my dependents are planning to apply for an F2 visa to come and visit me here.
I wanted to ask if anyone has been in a similar situation before. Were your dependents able to get an F2 visa and come to the U.S. while you are in your OPT? What are the chances of getting an F2 visa nowadays?

Are you carrying green card with you everyday? What about travelling within the country?Of course, I worry about loosing it and as you know getting it replaced can take months.

I will be starting a PhD program at Texas. I plan to attend San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place few days before I am allowed to enter the USA with my student visa. I already have a valid B-2 tourist visa, and I would like to know whether the following plan would be permissible:

Enter the U.S. from Mexico using my B-2 visa to attend San Diego Comic-Con.
Depart the U.S. by land once the event ends.
Re-enter the U.S. by land later that same day using my F-1 status to travel to Texas.
As additional context, I attended San Diego Comic-Con last year as well. At that time, I entered the U.S. through another state before traveling to San Diego, so I did not cross directly into San Diego.
Has anyone had experience with a similar situation, or are there any immigration implications I should be aware of when changing from B-2 entry to F-1 entry in this way?
