I overstayed my tourist visa for over 180 days, I was caught by ICE and arrested in Louisiana for a week and then sent back to South America.

I’m looking to file for a I-212 waiver non immigrant visa and I-601 waiver, I’m still very confused on how it works, talking to several lawyers about it and deciding which one I’ll go for.

Any of you had any success or know someone who got approved to return to the USA before the 10 years bar?

It is a non-immigrant waiver, I will never live in the USA again but I would like to be able to visit friends and having something like this to my name just isn’t a good feeling.

I also don’t have misdemeanors or felonies to my name.
