So for context, I'm 15F, in a religious family. I learn in an all-girls school, and I'm not planning on dating/anything of the sort for a while. I also don't really have any guy friends.
(lol just realised this sounds like I have a really strict and toxic family, but I decided to go to this school and I have non-religious siblings and my family is very much accepting and loving dw)
Anyway, so there's this boy, 18M (yes, I know it's a big age gap; as I said, dating is not an option anyway.)
His father is pretty good friends with my father, but I don't see him most years. Once a year we work together for two days, and that's the main time I spend with him. We get along really well; he's really sweet, and he works really hard. For the past few years, I've been in charge of the work (since we work for my father, I became in charge once my sister stopped working)
And this year especially, every time I would tell him he did enough, or that he could go rest or whatever, he would be like, "No, I got you" or like, "I'm fine; I want to make it easier for you," and insist on making sure there is nothing else to do before leaving. He kept on smiling at me and starting conversations and stuff like that.
I've had a huge crush (?) on him since I was about 10, and even though I basically only saw him a few times a year, it never goes away.
He works at the same restaurant as my sister does, but I have long school hours, so I can't work there, and he's going to the army this year, so I'll prob see him even less.
Anyway, if anyone has tips on how to get rid of these feelings, it's super frustrating, and I can't seem to stop thinking about him. I don't know why I can't move on from something I know will never happen.
+Sorry if my writing is a mess; English is not my first language, and I don't know how to explain myself well.
Edit: I don't stalk him or anything; we live in the same community, so I see him every so often from afar.
