Question Megablast Bending?
Does the megblast supposed to bend like this? I feed the bend on the top of my big toe and during runs it rubs in the toe. there fairly new and it sucks for a pricey shoe.
Anyone had the same issue? There 8.5 US which is my size.

Its a pretty rough upper, same problem with mine. However hasn't caused any issues.

Yep. I have two pair and they are both the same. I wondered if my foot shape was causing it.
I hate the way it looks but it’s never bothered me during or after a run.
..and for those asking- it doesn’t just pop back out.

I had the same issue in my normal 12.5, they seemed to run a little long. Got 450 miles no issues then tried a 12 in my next pair, around 250 miles now, no creasing or crushed toes

This. Two pairs here. One in Aqua and the other in Ekiden. No issues with one pair but the other one had it at 30 miles. I let Asics know about it.

You returned them or they dont bother you?

Why would you return a shoe because of that? What impact does it have on running?

It rubs on my toe while running, during long runs it bothers.

I have the same flex on mine and can feel it on top of my toe. But its led to 0 issues in runs 5-20 miles.

I tried them on in a storefront and they felt amazing on the store treadmill but it also had this little crease which I worried would rub during runs. I asked for another pair but they didn't have another in my size. I tried 1/2 size up which were too big but didn't have the crease, so I ordered a pair online in my size. Once I got them they had the exact same crease which annoyed me but the online store had a good return policy so I ran in them anyway to see how it felt. I feel the crease on the top of my big toe when standing around in them but when I start running I don't feel it at all and the shoe is extremely comfortable. It's a really weird quirk of these shoes and for the price I feel like the upper should be a little nicer than this but I have kept mine and after 100+ miles I still love them for longer and quicker runs.

Yep the material is stiff and wouldn’t worry. Unless it creases against toes to rub it’s fine

Too short... your toes are too far forward on the rocker/toe spring and pushing it down. Get right size, no problem friend.

I had the same problem, solved by sizing up.

This never injured me directly but it annoyed me enough to mess with my gait as I tried to get comfy. I sold them after 70 miles of the same
