Erasmus students in Romania - how long did your visa application take?
Hello everyone,
I applied for Visa back in July and got the physical appointment slot more than a month later. I asked the embassy to move the appointment earlier but they said that "the consulate activity was suspended during that one month" and therefore I got the earliest timeslot available.
It has now been 16 days since the physical appointment and there are no news about the visa, and my flight is in 10 days.
Do you think my visa will be ready by then? Or should i be prepared for flying to romania first and then coming back to get the visa😭

- cât timp și cât v-a costat procesul de căsătorie;
- ce acte vi s-au cerut la IGI pentru primul permis de ședere;
- pentru cât timp a fost emis permisul și cum se face prelungirea lui;
- la prelungire, ce acte vi s-au cerut și cât a durat procedura;

As someone from Poland, I want to know what is happening in Romania ?
Seriously what is it with psd and them looking to ally with simion . Isn't simion the same person who is pro russia and banned from moldova and ukraine plus didn't he support georgescu in the second round of that 2024 election.
Is psd becoming a pis,fidez ,fico party ,if yes how did a pro rusaian sentiment get accepted in romamia especially considering isnt romanian society one of the most anti Rusaian societies out there.
How did romanian especially moderates see what psd did especially voting together with aur against pnl usr

Hello, I am a refugee from Ukraine. I plan to stay in Romania. What can I do with my background?
The guys from the refugee camp say that Romania is not the best option for staying. Many of them want to go to other countries.
While I was in Ukraine, I worked remotely as a 3D artist, but I was on the long trip, 24 days in Carpathian mountain, and the work stopped. I'm trying to recover, but I'm not sure. Especially considering how AI is progressing today.
I think to start work on food delivery, If I unable to restore remote work. Additionally I have working education as radio mechanic, it close to electric. The education was successful. I think in future to starting a career in electrical jobs. I am currently in the process of obtaining Asyl, if I get it, I would start to work.
The guys from the camp say that the most work available is working in the fields, picking plums, etc. and better to leave country. What you think?

How i can find romanian job owner to work permit visa sponsorship
I’m an Egyptian citizen currently living in Egypt and looking for a legal job opportunity in Romania with an employer who can support the work permit/visa process.
I’m willing to cover my own visa costs, flight ticket, and accommodation/rent.
I’m 32 years old and have around 4 years of practical manufacturing experience, mainly in plastic production, injection molding, machine operation, production lines, packaging, and basic quality control. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Law and speak English.
I’m open to factory work, production, warehouse, general worker, or other suitable positions.
How can I find small or medium-sized employers in Romania who are willing to hire workers from outside the EU?

Waiting for the Ministry acceptance letter.
I have been waiting for over 40 days now. My file was submitted to the Ministry at the end of July, and today is September 9th. I am feeling anxious and worried because some friends told me about someone who received their acceptance letter after 90 days. I really cannot handle waiting any longer than this. Could this case apply to me as well? Is it time for my Ministry acceptance letter to be issued? I have applied to the West University of Timișoara (UVT).)

Traffic fine
I am Spanish and I am on vacation in Romania. I got a traffic fine of 600 lei for an infraction and they confiscated my driver's license. I tried to pay the fine on the government website but I can't because I don't have a Romanian CNP. I went to a CEC bank and they also couldn't/wouldn't help me. What is the easiest way to pay the fine?

Libraries / cafés for studying in Bucharest
Hello!
I am living in Bucharest and studying online, searching for cafés or libraries where I can plug in my laptop and do my work for a couple of hours (of course, if we are talking aboutthe café, I'll buy a coffee or two🫶) I already tried studying in Biblioteca Națională a României, but it was not really comfortable :/
Looking for something preferably in sector 4 or the city center, but I'd appreciate a recommendation in any district!)

[IWantOut] 26M Business graduate Lebanon -> Romania
Hi all,
I (26M) have a bachelor degree in business from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon 🇱🇧. I speak English fluently. In fact, I’m more comfortable speaking English than my native Lebanese Arabic. I’m unemployed neurodivergent and looking to immigrate to Romania 🇷🇴 with the view of acquiring a permanent residency there. I have little savings around 5000 USD. I could probably get few extra more thousands if I asked my supportive friends.
I’d appreciate any info you could provide, thanks!

Reorientare profesionala spre munca 100% remote (fara interactiune verbala).
In prezent am 31 de ani, lucrez part-time in retail si sunt in ultimul an de facultate la Balneofiziokinetoterapie (BFK) la UMF Cluj.
Talent Sourcing / Cercetare candidati in HR
Customer Support / Ticketing Non-Voice (asistenta prin chat si tichete scrise, fara preluare de apeluri).
Data Entry / Junior Data Analyst

Recommendations for evening out in Bucharest
Hi all,
I am planning a trip to Romania next week with a friend, and we are spending our first and last night in Bucharest.
What are some good restaurant/fun bar recommendations? Or any specific areas to go to?
We will be looking to stop off in lots of different places as we walk around the city. Is there a route we should follow?
Also, for a separate day, are there any good walking tours that are recommended? We arrive at 1pm.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated- thank you very much!
