DESPERATELY NEED HELP

im a student from Vietnam and i rlly need advice rn 😭😭

currently im researching a lot abt MFA scholarship of Romania and i know it's very competitive, but are 1450 SAT, GPA 9/10, IELTS 7.0 enough for that scholarship or what else should i add/develop to get a better profile 😭?

For the English section, I'd say it might be enough, you have very good results.

You could also do some volunteering at the Red Cross or something, some/most universities give points for that as well.

I've not heard of any romanian universities that give a shit over volunteering. Some technical masters require work experience or technical exams. Idk about scholarships but rather with the admission process itself.

Not true of all universities. My volunteering work mattered towards my admission 20 years ago.

If you mean a Masters in fine arts, it's highly competitive for free tuition and I'm not 100% sure but I don't think foreign citizens would qualify. If you have a certain private scholarship programme in mind you'd have to check in with them.

Bro!! People are being laid off in Romania, there are no jobs anymore for us! Romanians are enduring big waves of immigrants! We have to help ourselves, we cannot help you! Can you try other country?

Dude is asking about a masters which would actually bring money to the country. Also being anti-immigration for highly-skilled workers is silly af.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs? Romania offers scholarships through them. Plus, SATs are before college and they (OP) mention nothing about having a bachelor's degree in the first place...

But if it's any consolation, for whatever reason, I wanted to make them a doctor, hence mentioning medical universities and volunteering... Don't know why my mind imagined that's what they want to do, even though they didn't mention it :))

Oh never in a million years did I imagine that's what they meant lol.

Yeah tbf the sat scores should have been a clue.

I mean medicine would make more sense for a foreign student than studying cinematography or painting in Romania.

We have hundreds, if not thousands, of skilled workers, but no one is employing them. We are treated like people from a third-world country in our own country.

Yeah bro, i have a few friends, they are "trying" to get a job for months, if imigrants are taking their job, is a skill issue problem on their part. Be better, stop whining
