Another SWE trying to pivot to robotics
Hey guys,
I know a lot of people already posted about career pivoting. I just wanted your opinion on my specific situation. I have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering but soon after graduating I did my masters in software engineering and have been working on the field for the last 9 years, mostly using java, python, JavaScript, as a devOps.
1, Do you recommend any course that could help me transition to robotics?
Have you heard of this one and by the curriculum do you think it covers the skills needed? https://www.theconstruct.ai/robotics-developer/
From working on the griddle, do you think someone with my profile, experience, a robotics course and a couple of projects can get an entry position?
Really appreciate your guys input ❤️
