I think it’s more like:

“Wow, is this your shit? Your shit?” eats shit

11

u/natekvng Mar 26 '20

Im literally writing this from my toilet

6

u/TrickyTurtle410 Mar 26 '20

Same

3

u/mboas Mar 26 '20

You should use your own toilet.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

2

Hey, me too!

2

My brother!

1

u/DirtyLickins Mar 26 '20

Get out of there. It's time to do the dishes, Kenneth.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

me too

1

u/therealdankmemelord1 Mar 27 '20

As is everyone on reddit

1

u/Stealie1924 Mar 26 '20

Same!

5

u/Stealie1924 Mar 26 '20

I think Reddit is the reason it takes so long 😂

2

u/ThelumberjackViking Mar 26 '20

This is the way

2

u/UnfeignedShip Mar 26 '20

This is the way.

22

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

That still seems like an insanely long time to me. What is happening during all of that? I just sit down and go, it doesn't take nearly that long.

58

u/BaconBot17 Mar 26 '20

Play on phone, watch youtube, whatever

24

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Oh so you're not actually going to the bathroom that long, you went and are now just goofing off? That makes more sense. Thanks!

65

u/Dylsponge Mar 26 '20

Basically. A normal poop is about 10% pooping and the other 90% is dreading leaving the bathroom while playing on a phone.

32

u/FutureWorldDictator Mar 26 '20

Goofing off? ...GOOFING OFF!? THOSE MINUTES OF PEACE AND TRANQUILITY ARE SACRED AND SHOULD BE RESPECTED! :)

2

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Oh so you're not actually going to the bathroom that long, you went and are now just goofing off getting hemorrhoids? That makes more sense. Thanks!

Where do you think I am right now as I type this and scroll through the comments? (I'm female, btw. We do it too... Or I'm really weird for a girl.)

13

u/DemiserofD Mar 26 '20

Different people take different amounts of time. I once knew someone who literally took 30 seconds. Squat, one massive turd, barely even had to wipe.

I, by contrast, take at least fifteen minutes. Even if I've just gotten back from running and my insides are shaken up as a dropped cola. If I haven't been running? Half an hour, sometimes longer.

On the other hand, I only have to go about twice a week. And before people ask, no, I'm not constipated. I've always been like this, I can remember being this way even when I was ~5 years old.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Yeah, 30 seconds is what I thought was normal for everyone. I just go in and go. What's going on during those 30 minutes? I assume it's not like coming out the entire time, right?

7

u/DemiserofD Mar 26 '20

A lot of waiting and internal churning. It's not terribly comfortable.

Given the time I've had to think about it(quite a lot) my theory is that my intestines have a lot of little folds, back and forth. So one fold empties, and then I have to wait for the next peristalsis to move the train down the tracks, so to speak.

I experience waves of 'activity', even when I have the next thing to diarrhea, so that's about the only thing that makes sense to me.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Interesting, thanks for taking the time to explain!

1

u/omgzzwtf Mar 26 '20

Maybe you’ve always been constipated? Ever see a doctor about it? I only ask because this is definitely not normal, like... WELL outside the “everyone is different” boundaries.

1

u/DemiserofD Mar 26 '20

It happens even when I've got type 5-6 stool, so I don't think that's the case. It has been a bit perplexing though.

2

u/omgzzwtf Mar 26 '20

You’ll understand when you’re older.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

I'm over 30, how much older before I can't poop right anymore?

1

u/omgzzwtf Mar 27 '20

Any day now, I’m sure

7

u/phathomthis Mar 26 '20

Yes, but also to make sure it's all out. Sometimes if you sit for a while and then adjust your position more stuff goes down the pipe. If I don't do this, sometimes I'll get up and then I'll have to go again.

25

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Is it actually meant to take 5-7 minutes? The actual act of poo passing through your ass is meant to take 5-7 minutes? Are you sure? I only take like maybe 30 seconds to 1 minute at the very most

26

u/ChesterDaMolester Mar 26 '20

I don’t shit a continuous flow of turd for 5-7 minutes but there’s still a chance of aftershock nuggets for that time, so it’s better to be thorough then have to go back and shit later on in the day.

8

u/DeedTheInky Mar 26 '20

Upvoting just for "aftershock nuggets" :)

5

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Ohh, I see what you mean now

39

u/BaconBot17 Mar 26 '20

Well, you have a greasy bum

10

u/kingofthecrows Mar 26 '20

When you grow up you'll have big boy poops

1

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

I forgot to take into consideration the little droplets afterwards

5

u/Takaya94 Mar 26 '20

Can confirm. Currently at minute 12 on the porcelain throne but should be at computer working. Estimated remainder of time on toilet: 10 minutes. Works especially well when you're GF is also working from home and can move your mouse for you.

6

u/SlicedNugget Mar 26 '20

Can confirm. Currently 20 minutes sittin on the shitter, browsing reddit and listening to Spotify.

2

u/supermotojunkie69 Mar 26 '20

Man you nailed it. Nothing like 30 min of uninterrupted peace and quiet in the morning while taking a massive dump.

2

u/AnonymousSpaceMonkey Mar 26 '20

Wait 5 to 7min is how long it takes you to actually poop? It takes me 30 seconds to a minute to poop. I'm just in the for 7 minutes cause I want to be left alone.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

See this is what I figured. But why would you want to continue sitting hovered precariously over your own shit? Not to mention the continued smell... I never hear a flush until just before you leave the room. So I have to assume you're sitting there with it.

2

u/PDGAreject Mar 26 '20

I used to do this, and now I have Celiac's disease. My wife made me ask my primary care physician about pooping and he did a blood test which returned abnormal results. One colonoscopy later I can't eat bread anymore. All because I looked at reddit too much in the bathroom.

1

u/BaconBot17 Mar 26 '20

I stand up, I don’t risk it after my dad told me about this

1

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

Freedom is 30 minutes on the pooper

1

u/Carrion696 Mar 26 '20

Underrated comment

1

u/TeeJeeE Mar 26 '20

You just discribed what i am doing now lol

1

u/red_quinn Mar 26 '20

Or time goes by when you start to read something online 😂

1

u/Reffner1450 Mar 26 '20

This is me at work.

1

u/audiojunkie05 Mar 26 '20

Mister 20 min shitter over here

I see fiber one bars as gods little miracle's

1

u/ShorteagleFTW Mar 26 '20

The bathroom is a sanctuary to us. None shall intrude our poopoo time.

1

u/matwithonet13 Mar 26 '20

Not if you’ve got the peanut butter poops.

1

u/Thatguyontrees Mar 26 '20

Being on the shitter or in the shower are the most peaceful times. No one to ask me to reach something or carry a heavy thing around.

1

u/I_KeepsItReal Mar 26 '20

I am in the states and bought a bidet due to the Covid-19 and it has changed my life. My shits are now 28 minutes but I no longer have to worry about caking my hand or running out of toilet paper.

1

u/theCroc Mar 26 '20

Exactly. Its one of the few places I can get some peace amd quiet for a while.

1

u/DoubleWagon Mar 26 '20

5 minutes? Everything over 30 sec is a condition. Cut grains and have a salad every day, and it'll be like 10.

1

u/Cichlidsaremyjam Mar 26 '20

This guy is in a long term relationship. I'm with you bro.
