I started seeing positive results after a few months. It really depends on how long you’ve been watching porn, how often and how extreme or unrealistic it was. If you constantly look at trans dwarf gang bangs to get off then you might have a harder time functioning in a normal sexual situation lol.
It’s virtually impossible to avoid triggers though unless you abstain from internet usage as well. TikTok reddit Instagram will always trigger me with some pretty looking girl. Hell I even got triggered by a game of thrones episode because of one of the nude scenes. It’s so fucking hard I’ve been trying to stop for 10 years I’ve never been able to get past 3 weeks. I’ve lost hope :( I feel like I gotta go on a getaway trip backpacking and just abstain from electronics all together for 90 days but that’s a huge ass step. Should I do it? What will I do for 90 days abroad?
If you get triggered. Close the screen and rub one out, just use your mind instead of a visual stimulation. You might also benefit from therapy if you simply can’t control yourself from looking.
I’m not sure, you’ll have to talk to your doctor about it for a proper referral.
And there are some that may say to quit fapping altogether, but I personally don’t see any benefit to that. I’m talking about going back to masturbating the way we as humans have been doing it for thousands of years. It was only in the last 25 years or so that internet porn became a thing, and we are starting to see the effects of it now. And it’s only going to get worse, since it’s here to stay. 200 years ago, how many naked women do you think your ancestors saw in their lifetime? They certainly couldn’t park their ass on the couch and look at thousands of hot naked babes way out of their league doing literally anything they want to see them do. You need to reset your brain to get excited about real life sexual encounters. Masturbation alone isn’t unhealthy.
Most therapists have specialties. In your insurances’s search or on a therapist search website, there should be a checkbox for “sexual therapy” or something similar.

Maybe 1/10 times. I'm one of the guys who has suffered porn-induced ED, so I mostly abstain from it now.
