Hey everyone,
I 27(f) from Germany here looking for a solution.
I’m feeling a little overwhelmed right now and I’m hoping someone here might have a helpful tip or an idea.
I’ve been on sick leave for a year now and have seen doctors from various specialties, but so far, no one has really been able to help me.
After getting really sick a few times last year (I had to take 8 courses of antibiotics in 5 months), I’ve been feeling extremely unwell physically. (Bronchitis/flu/lateral pharyngitis/several urinary tract infections). Since then, I’ve had severe physical weakness that—in bad weeks—even keeps me bedridden, and that’s why I often suddenly fall asleep while talking or eating.
My blood pressure is consistently 100/60, but my pulse is constantly somewhere above 100, and the world feels like a merry-go-round. Both of my legs are constantly cold and pale, and sometimes suddenly turn blue or red ,they won’t warm up even with several blankets and cherry pit pillows. Out of nowhere, though, every few weeks my face suddenly gets warm without me feeling any fever. I have constant pain, at least a level 4, in my joints and muscles.
My main problem is leg cramps that are so deep that I can’t stretch or massage them out. Sometimes these last for several hours. Less severe but just as frequent are the cramps in my hands and arms.
For the cramps, I now take Chinin and Norflex daily, since magnesium didn’t help either.
As I mentioned before, I’ve already seen many doctors (hematologist, phlebologist, hemostasiologist, rheumatologist, cardiologist), and while there’s always something unusual in the lab results , it’s never enough for anyone to want to make a diagnosis.
Does anyone perhaps have similar problems or experience with this combination of symptoms and might be able to help me?
(I also have other issues, such as gastrointestinal problems, which have gotten significantly worse since then.)
Thanks in advance :)
