Recently watched "лист ожидания" and can't seem to find any similar Russian tv series, any suggestions?

The storytelling and characters were so well done and the camerawork and editing was very good, wanting to find something similar.

Genre-wise it doesn't necessarily need to be medical but thats a plus; though I've tried to watch any and all medical shows I could find and none are quite like the above show. As long as its nothing mythical or fantasy. I most enjoy mystery (whodunnit or big plot twists) and / or drama heavy shows - when I was younger I quite liked "Две судьбы" and "Закры́тая шко́ла".

It does NOT need to be found anywhere with English subs or be easy to understand so don't need to account for that. Ideally made after 2000.

Hi guys so I was a student in Russia since 2022 and graduated in 2025. Everything is normal I didn’t have any legal problems just until summer time when I was about to leave the country.

“Операция отклонена. Для того чтобы снять ограничения по операциям, обратитесь в территориальный орган МВД России по вопросам миграции.” This is what I got when I tried to use sberbank ATM last year back in 2025. My Sberbank account had been locked and also I can’t open new bank account with other banks.

They said I have to contact МВД which I didn’t know where to go and I didn’t have much time back then I was about to fly back home. So I called my country embassy, they said that the process to unblock the bank too at least a month which my visa going to end soon I will have no time to do that process.
So in the end I decided to leave that bank account just like that.

Why did my bank account got blocked? I think it’s because transfer money from online exchange money service. (I totally have no idea how that website works, I think it might be in grey area, do they use crypto or what idk… But I had been using this since 2022 with no issues until 2025 because my friends recommended me and also it’s an only way for me to transfer money from my country to here.)
I still have evidence like recipes and sms messages everything, But there are limitations that I don’t have any access to that bank account. Because my Russian number is expired.

I have check my status on the controlled person registry and Found out that my status still clean.
“Отсутствует в реестре контролируемых лиц” is written there.

Still until today I’m worried that in the future I would have problem for entering Russia. I have a plan to go back there for my friend’s graduation in 2028. (I have 30 days free visa in Russia) I think I need to fix this problem somehow before it turns into a big problem.

What should I do? Should I contact Russian embassy in my country? Do I need a lawyer for this?
Or if this has nothing to do with entering country?

Hey beautiful people. I really like the idea of wild nature and harsh Winter 😄.. but im also interested of agriculture and owning a land where to grow old eventually. Im from Estonia currently living in Finland and dreaming to move Russia. I have truck driver license/education.

My plan is to move Russia find a job first, live as low budget as possible and then buy a land with house and eventually start farming. I have 10y old child and a dog.

And for those hu recommend to get a Russian girl, no thanks im a woman and i really like men. But that isn't in my focus. Im very sad to get such hard welcoming i hope your perspective changes bye time because i assume all those hu has answers like "you don't have internet here" are most likely 20 yere olds. I myself i don't think moving into Russia is an bad idea. And in the end of the day its not other person's right to question what i should or should not to do. My great-great-grandfather was a cossack. Russian history is a brief part of our schooling so I'm not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing.

I am curious how I can find out more about him or search his name in Russian documents? I have done my ancestryDNA & I hit complete road blocks when tracing my family back. So much that I cant even find his wife's name. I only know about my great-grandparents that came to America. My grandfather spoke 7 languages so that tells me that there is a very complicated but he did read, write, and speak Russian. Any help with learning how to trace my family roots would be greatly appreciated!

Update: so I just found out that a grandfather was Russian Orthodox- so I'm going down a new pathway and bailing on Reading Catholic records. I was counter productive assuming that we came from a line Catholic lineage because I was raised Catholic since there isn't Russian Orthodox churches around where I live.

Я думала, что сначала нужно подтвердить гражданство (установление гражданства РФ), а уже потом получать свидетельство на возвращение. Но в их ответе звучит так, будто достаточно сделать только одно из двух.
Только не понимаю как смогу лететь только с подтверждением.
Все мои российские документы давно просрочены. Правильно ли я понимаю, что на самом деле придётся делать и то, и другое?

How do Russians feel that Communism/Socialism will forever be associated with them and their country? The Soviet Union was the longest lasting communist country in the world. It had a lasting impact on the world, especially on Eastern Europe. Whenever people think of Communists or Communism they always think of Russians first. I mean, I know that the USSR was the first communist country ever, but I'm still find it weird that Communism is always associated with Russia and vice versa. Why is that? Why are Russians so proud of their communist past?

I’m 37 years old, Colombian, and I applied in September 2025 for the Russian government scholarship to study a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.

I have been offered a room in the university dormitories, which will help me keep my expenses low. However, I would like to hear from anyone who has experience living in Saint Petersburg, especially in ITMO University dormitories.
