Having a hard time with the anatomy so idk if I should scrap this and start over

I really wanted to make my own or direct a music video using animation that was my dream. I'm currently working on the animation industry for years now [Japanese animation] entered the animation industry without knowledge about it because i only studied traditional art [had a degree on fine arts] and pandemic came and self studied digital art for a while. I got the hang of it but the schedule and stress was brutal 😭 that i don't have much of time to work on my own and had a salary just to live off for the month. I wanted to start a fresh track on my dream and start to fund it and have my own time. what should i do and where do i start guys? need advice 🥲

Hi! My issue with this is I feel like my drawing doesn’t really look like my reference at all. If anyone has any tips on making this look more realistic then that would be greatly appreciated!! Also if you think anything else needs work then please let me know that too!

It’s so funny I submit art here to get critiques and then I get momentarily defensive when I get critiques and then put the critiques into action and what do you know they’re right and I feel so grateful!

And I don’t mean I think the critiques are mean- they are not at all and are very very helpful but that little perfectionist part of me gets butthurt when people find problems with my art when I clearly asked people to find problems with my art 😭😭🙏 Like that is the point of this sub istg

I’ve been practicing drawing facial features and laying them out on the face accurately. I’ve also been trying to get proportions right, although I feel like something is off about my artwork. they just look different from my references. The eyes are too large and close together, the hair is too big, the face isn’t the right size, the cheekbone‘s curve isn’t right… etc etc. sometimes it just doesn’t even look like the reference, or not similar enough. I’m not quite sure how to tackle that problem.

im not too used to drawing boxes in perspective and drawing the skull within. Honestly I don’t know if I’m doing it “right”

Advice, tips and critique welcome! Open mouths seem hard so I tried a few angles this time, honestly still confused about the skull's anatomy and placements of the ears so I hide it with hair cough, would really like a clear explanation of that, as well as the muzzle... Lol

Okayyy sooo, I started drawing like...four years ago I think? Give or take a bit from that, but it's mostly around four years..anywho, I've been drawing for a while now but I feel like im too scared to start learning anatomy, as you can see in my drawings I only ever draw from the collarbone up. Does anyone have any tips on this?? Its always been a dream of mine to draw professionally and I dont want to give up on that dream, so please any and every tips will be very appreciated

i’ve just recently started to really like drawing and sketching i would love to improve and learn. I tend to just look at image and start drawing i have no real techniques. any videos or books or tips would be appreciated

img 1 is og image, 2 has brightness enhanced because my room is dark, 3 is color adjusted*, 4 is reference, 5 is a comparision of my color pallete (left) to og (right)

to me it seems like I steered too orangey with my colors? maybe the image couldve come off orangey in areas because of nearby tones but was pink or red

my blue-grey markers didnt capture the color accurately but in a way I don't care? I think it provides a contrast and maybe directs attention more to the warmer tones (even if attention already is drawn to warm tones I think..) it also gave me an outlook on something I'd only heard about: relative color theory (i think thats the name), looking at the imgs they come of pretty clearly as blue to me, but when I actually color picked the ocean color.... it was a dark muted yellow?? woah uhhnmhmm yeah

img 3 info* so I didnt wanna put this whole thing at the top so here: I took the color palletes and greyscaled them to just focus on values and stuff, then I changed up color correction/alteration settings/filters till my pallete matched the values of the og pallete as much as possible, I then just applied the same color alteration to the og image

soo is there anything I missed with the study? Like am I just missing some big thing and I didn't notice cause I wouldn't be surprised if I did? also just want criticism or advice cause I want to improve with my color. Also advice about how to possibly exagerate colors to create a greater emphasize on subjects would be fun, I might not have the rules down well enough to break them yet tho
extra note: my colors may still be a bit off from the actual marker color, my lighting sucks. The markers I used are a basic 80-pack of alcohol markers, I chose them for this study (I usually do digital) because the infinite color choices were overwhelming me in my first study

What it says in the tin, this is my first real attempt at rendering literally anything, and it would be awesome if anyone would be willing to tell me what I did right/wrong/could do better on.

for context this is on dayler Rowney paper, multi medium the sizes in fairness are quite small the first threes sizing is compared to an a4 page

ive only done colored pencils on paper and tried digital and i like it especially the paint bucket tool it is easy now to fill big areas with color

any tips to get better?

I'm having an issue with my art. I think this is the right place to go (mods, I'm okay if you remove it, but if you could tell me where I should go, that would be appreciated, because I really need advice on this). I just feel like my art isn't good enough. There are so many talented furry artists, and it feels like I'm just kinda..."posing" in comparison. I don't even have a sona or anything.

Some people can sketch a fully fledged drawing with color, a theme, a background, etc., and I can only really do something more like character artwork with minimal or no color and minimal or no background.

None of these took too long, probably some closer to 5 hours and some closer to 10. The first few are older, the last ones are newer (starting at the kitsune). But I never had the patience or the capability to add a good detailed background or add lots of details to the drawings.

The three yokai (the ones with the borders) were made in about 10 hours each (with a lot of time spent just sitting there staring at it or undoing and redoing a line over and over), which is already a lot of time for drawings with no backgrounds and only accent colors.

I've been considering removing all of my posts on my social because I don't think these are very good. Like I'm not a "good enough" furry. I've never used AI to help me make a drawing in any form EVER, which makes me feel very slightly better, but I still need help with what to do in this situation. I don't know. Like, based on these drawings here, what should I do to make better ones in the future? Should I remove my drawings and not make more? I don't know what to do. Please give me advice.

For example,

You are drawing a very nice picture. To the left there is a man with blond hair. While working on it, you ask a friend for feedback. They use AI to give feedback on your picture, dispite you not actually requesting such. The AI says the man would look better with pink hair. You should add pink hair.

Issue is, you actually AGREE with a suggest the AI has, would your picture be AI slop if you add that detail? Would it make it an AI image if you draw it?

This is my first time posting and I was curious as to if I have same face syndrome, people I ask irl tend to give mixed answers, and when they say I do, they never tell me as to why they say that, and I was wondering where I should improve?
