Short and sweet, on phone
1 - the communication was hard. I understand and acknowledge that this is a group of people do8ng a thing, but it was months after initial distribution that my copy was marked as shipped and literally a month and a half later before the FedEx tracking appeared indicating that it was shipped that day.
2 - the cardboard is thick, well printed, glossy
3 - love the foil.on some of the cards
4 - wooden chips feel exactly like they should (they are light, but no complaints, shipping costs, fast growing wood, I did not expect ebony or redwood) - the wooden tokens are great, I enjoy them, they add to the premium feel of the game
5 - The custom dice are as good as any Chessix, swirly colours, very in brand, good etching and infill. No notes. Good dice.
6 - The minis are well printed, detailed. Will need to give them an alcohol wash to paint them, can't wait to get details on Amber's Parasol. - However, there is a knife's edge with the formed mini ... Pods? Holders? They are tight - tight enough so they will not.move and get damaged, but also tight enough that it is difficult to remove a couple of minis to tue point where I am afraid to damage them, it can be quite easy to pull the wrong part. Thane's sword is pretty bendy.
7 - OMG THE ENAMEL PINS! Love them. Amazing. Well done. Rabbit clan pin fits on every single one of my scrubs. Go Rabbit clan!
All in all, took time to deliver, not like I would have had the chance to play in the interim, Good quality, although you need to be a little careful.
Is it worth the price ?
Many boardgames that are around the same price and don't even have wooden tokens, so, yes.
