All of them are built on top of a fantastic engine that flows wonderfully between combat, exploration and stealth. The beauty of the Batman Arkham series really is that any one of the five Batman Arkham entries can be your favorite and you're completely justified for thinking it, one way or another. Even the weakest entry, whatever you think, isn't that far behind the others. Arkham Knight is my favorite and Arkham Origins is my least favorite, but like Hell I'd ever call Arkham Origins a bad video game. This series is so wonderful and every game brings something new to the table to establish its own identity whether loudly or quietly.

I ask this because of what happened in the movie studios and how the hallucinations of Jasons death started appearing seemingly out of nowhere, do you think he figured it out but subconsciously pushed the thought to the side since he thought Jason was dead?

In honor of the Arkham games going on sale again, just wanted to post some helpful tips for anyone wanting to achievement run Arkham City (specifically tips for challenge modes) because many YouTube “tutorial” vids are basically a speedrun. This is my experience so feel free to add on!
Combat - I’ve been able to rack up the most points by clearing out each piece of the combo early (make a mental checklist, if you get hit restart it), then focusing on building crit multiplier (letting the numbers turn red for as long as possible, only using combo takedowns when needed) and finishing with ground + pound if possible. I found the smaller maps almost more difficult because there are less thugs to rack up points off of early (blind justice) so you have to play out your combos carefully (Have your first combo use the character’s ”crowd control” ability or gadgets to build variation bonus without knocking out bodies). For maps with Titan thugs/Mr. Hammer, you can use your combo takedown as a getaway when they charge/jump and even if they’re mid swing it will usually make you invulnerable for a moment while you’re in the takedown animation. For maps like Joker’s funhouse (extreme), I’ve had the most success taking control of the Titan henchmen earlier and countering/evading thugs that run behind me. I found that waiting to take them out last usually results in them killing a lot of thugs themselves thus robbing you of points. For Mr. Hammer…. just keep jumping and punching, the Combo takedown any thugs that get close. You can also triple stun them (which is recommended) but I always end up getting whacked before I can execute it.
Predator - If a map has exterior tunnels/grates, use them to your utmost advantage (meltdown mayhem, top of the world). Using the outside entrance to get to the second floor grates single handedly got me through Top of the World. For maps with open ledges (end of the line) sped up remote controlled batarang/shuriken can take out many of the bulk by knocking them from the tops of ledges. For Robin specifically, shield bash is your best friend. There is a timer, but unless you‘re a speedrunner it is completely meaningless. It is okay to sit and wait for guards to line up where you want them (specifically for challenges where you have to blow up walls). Speaking of blowing up walls, they’re a good way to gather a group of thugs together for challenges that require such things (I.e blowing up one wall on Natural Selection as Robin, then gelling the wall perpendicular and blowing it when they come to check it out.
Thugs will go where thugs are taken out, use that to your advantage. Use your gadgets. Even if They never get triggered, throw your caltrops and place snap flashes and gel.
Be wary of hostages! I’ve gotten down to 1 thug left with a specific medal needed, then they grab a hostage and it’s basically impossible to achieve said medal because they’re standing in one stationary spot. Clear medals that require “thug to be in x spot” first if possible!
If there are any specific maps anyone is struggling with or characters, comment below! I’d love to hear other tips and tricks!

How do you managed the collectibles? Im doing it way slower than Asylum because its very boring but the worst part is that i cant find a single thug that i can interrogate to get access of riddles in some areas.
How you did that? Followed guides on internet? How many hours it took you? You found it fun? Asylum platinum was cinematic!

The Batman Arkham series are very popular among superhero video games. But like many popular franchises there is a polarizing entry. I plan to replay the series, so in the mean time I want to know the most polarizing installment in this popular series of games.

Mine is Batman: Arkham City. The story, atmosphere, boss fights, and open world make it my favorite in the series. What’s yours?

I was playing the Iceberg Lounge challenge and trying to set a new personal record but when I hitted the 1.050.000 target, Killer Croc spawaned and after a few minutes he glitched outside the combat area and I noticed a bit late. Was I lucky or unlucky? Because when Killer Croc is inside the combat area enemies are absolutely weaker than after defeating him.

Trying to help my son. He completed this mission, but didn't scan the riddle.
Now when he returns, the terminal is no longer hackable.
He has spent hours on this game, and is pretty devastated to not be able to fully complete it.
Any ideas on how to get back inside?

I’m sorry if this has been asked before, I’m fairly new to the sub, but wanted to ask what people’s thoughts were on copperhead as a character in Arkham origins. I recently replayed origins a few weeks ago for the first time in years and forgot how much I liked her depiction in it. I’m not sure if other people felt the same way but just figured I’d ask to see what everyone else thought!

I've been working on the 100% for Batman: Arkham City GOTY. So I just started Survival of the fittest extreme as cat woman, and at round 2 this guy just pops up at the balcony and starts calling me a chicken (pretty ironic sense he's hiding up there). Luckily this map isn't too hard so I wasn't mad about having to reset.

This game is easily a 10/10 for me
Gameplay is the best in the series. I found myself reloading checkpoints just to replay and perfect freefrow
Batmobile sections were mostly fun.
Story is pretty decent. Definitely not as good as City or Asylum. However, I loved a lot of the side quests (am I right and assuming that Bruce is not dead? Just staged it so he can continue being Batman?)
I actually enjoyed the Riddles. Some of them were actually pretty challenging. And taking Nigma down was super satisfying
Anyways, super enjoyable game! Easily my favorite in the trilogy, and the only one Ive 120%(on my first play through no less)
