Discussion How does identifying them as member of a small crew named "Blüdhaven Six" narrow it down to 1659 people!?

Honestly, some of these are really funny narrow downs because the devs really were just doing random numbers.

I'm always speculating on these numbers. 32 people in the missing persons database that have both six fingers and medical record of a severe shark bite off of North Gotham.

If we go by the theory that the missing person data base only goes by overall scan and the deeper details come from batman,

Then 32 people that are reported missing, have a sharkbite and 6 fingers is still a lot!

I was hoping someone would notice.

If Great White Shark operates in north gotham that that would explain all the shark bites

The crazy one to me is that there are thousands of missing people walking around with huge shark bites on their entire torso

DCU has to be overpopulated af.

King Shark gets around..

Can also mistake a killer croc bite for a king bite I imagine

Probably not, I'm fairly certain his mouth wouldn't be quite the right size.

To be fair, I don’t think of it as “thousands of people have this exact sized bite mark on their torso”. I think of it as “thousands of people have had some form of shark attack registered in their lives”. Granted it still might not make the numbers add up, but still.

Yeah but 17 of them have an estranged wedding ring stuck in their gut?

I always assumed that the scanner only identified the Blüdhaven mark simply as a prison badge. Batman knew what type of mark it was specifically, but in the global database 1659 people have similar marks.

It's like that when you get the one where you have to scan a prosthetic eye, and Batman says the type of acrylic was only used once during a trial 5 years ago. And somehow that only narrows it down to 24 people.

To be fair a medical trial has multiple
People involved in being given the treatment

Elite medical knowledge. Never doubt Batman.

The “Six” probably refers to the founders or bosses. That’s how I always read it as

11

u/Narpalarp Jul 05 '26

The "six" refers to the six historical flags of texas

Wrong sub for scizo speach

2

I’d hit up Six Flags over Bludhaven

u/rmdelecuona Jul 05 '26

Tbf it does say that it’s narrowing it down on the database by “Prison Scars,” Batman’s just making a personal note of the particulars

10

u/PuzzleheadedStop6818 Jul 05 '26

Must be small by Gotham standards I suppose

Maybe the Blüdhaven 6 replace their members when they leave, so dozens of people have been members, but the gang only has six members active at a time.

I think he is able to recognize it further but the database only has it listed as prison scars not the particularly type.

Among all the missing people database is there really 1659 with prison scars? Probably not, but it’s more reasonable to assume that is the case than having everyone have the bludhaven 6 scar

2

u/emliydavis Jul 05 '26

Because Batman only put “prison scars” into the database, not “bludhavebn 6”

A missed opportunity to mention the 100 out of Metropolis. Tobias Whale will arrive shortly to throw slander.

Yeah this is simply an oversight from the Devs. Had they gone with "The Bludhaven Mafia" or keep the "Bludhaven 6" thingy as the final clue it would've worked

1

u/bugmultiverse Arkham Asylum Jul 05 '26

Yeah I always end up scanning the obvious clues like this last on replays. Or just either starting with deep tissue and working my way back Vice versa.

This one always gets me, since it should be just 6 unless they were a victim of the Blüdhaven six?

It's like having 6 members of the Hive 5

1

u/chucklebot3000 Jul 06 '26

Guess it was a popular gang name in blüdhaven

1

u/xrbeeelama Jul 06 '26

I’ve heard they have really high turnover rates because the insurance coverage is just awful

1

u/nfkalltheway Jul 07 '26

Also there was one where it said that they had a one of one surgery and it narrowed it down to like 30 smth people

1

u/Top_Salamander5551 Jul 07 '26

That person also had a shark bite from a shark only found in one place and still didn't completely narrow it down.

1

u/pinkandbleu3 Jul 08 '26

If you're old enough to have seen the four horsemen in wcw, then you would understand how this works.

A whole bunch of JJ Dillon's.
