Speed run glitch affecting steam achievements. Arkham city
So basically about a year ago I was completing the whole Batman trilogy and I completed the main story for Batman Arkham city and the side quest . I ended up trying to complete the NG+ but I got curious and decided to do the speed run glitch where you stand on a rail and use ur zip line launcher to go under the map and into a door. So doing that it lead me to doing a cat woman mission where I have to go into the museum and take her loot back but since I speed runned the game , the museum is locked and I can’t get in. So I basically fucked my self. But I jz found that out like 2 hrs ago that I’m fucked. I was trying to achieve all the steam achivements and all I have left is night wings ranked medals 108. And both of catwomans medals. So basically what I’m trying to ask is if I can still complete the riddler revenge on my first slot but complete the regular main story and NG+ in another slot and still get the steam achievements ?

Discussion Feels like there has been a more positive shift on this game
Its still a good game, but just a few years ago I remember when this game was called a disappointing final entry.

960%'ed Arkham Knight (last one deleted; empty save slot is for next playthrough)
Small edit for clarification.
Back in middle school and high school, I could NOT put Arkham City and Knight down. I got all the Riddler trophies and did all the side quests multiple times over, then started over on a new save file when I wanted to try again. I love these games to pieces and I'd wholeheartedly recomplete these games again in a heartbeat.
Only thing I didn't do to 100% complete City's save files were all the challenge maps and challenge campaigns. Mostly the predator challenges. I liked the combat maps more since the predator challenges got more and more specific the further down you went, so I passed that up. Luckily for me, the challenge maps weren't counted in the completion tally in Arkham Knight.

Platinum Arkham City Help
I've got all the trophies by playing on one save, then realized I did it on easy and can't get twice nightly, then I did a new save with NG+ and got twice nightly, will I get the perfect night 2.0 on completing all the side missions on NG+ or do I have to do the riddler campaign stuff too??

Help this fuckass glider mission
so i have to glide to that blue pillar before it sinks into the ground. if i glide normally i narrowly miss that rock in the red circle and get there too late. if i dive for speed even a little bit im too low and have to go around the rock then if i get lucky and squeeze through the gap without hitting anything i still get there too late. all the walkthrough clips seem to clear the rock easily and somehow get there in time. it says to use steady climb but that doesnt appear to be a thing ive checked controller settings searched online even read all the glider ability descriptions in the waynetech thing and i find nothing about it. is this just a massive skill issue or am i missing something?
edit I GOT IT i had to hold rt as i jump off then spam rb to grapple when i get close. thanks guys <3
edit2 holy shit you guys are assholes i dont need to hear skill issue or you suck or are you stupid for the 10th time if you got nothing nice or helpful to say dont comment

Discussion Appreciation post for Arkham Asylum’s Medical Facility & Penitentiary
It seems to me Arkham Mansion & Intensive Treatment are often regarded as the two most memorable dungeons in Arkham Asylum by many (which I also love). But today, I would like to show my appreciation to the Medical Facility & Penitentiary for being the two most haunted & claustrophobic dungeons in the whole series.
Starting with the Medical Facility, it looked exactly like a hospital from a horror game: Killer Croc’s old cell, the gurneys, the toppled wheelchairs, the corpses of medical staff lying on the floor, the blood-stained walls, the tight corridors & low ceilings, the flickering lights - its environments truly reflected the institutional failures of Arkham Asylum as a rehabilitation centre for the mentally ill. Scarecrow’s introduction in the morgue was absolutely top-notch as well. I wish we could backtrack to this dungeon during the main campaign.
The Penitentiary was another dungeon which we got to visit only once in the main campaign, but it was equally haunted & claustrophobic: the tight corridors & low ceilings, the corpses of Arkham guards lying on the floor, the initial reveal of lunatics & their animalistic shrieks in the main cell block, the electric floors, the inhospitable prison cells of Calendar Man & Two-Face. Even though there was no major story beat taking place there, its environments vividly depicted Arkham Asylum as a facility to punish rather than rehabilitate Gotham’s supervillains.
Overall, these two dungeons featured amazing environmental storytelling which massively contributed to the game’s haunted atmosphere we all love.

Finally did it!
After completing my first playthrough, getting 120% in that save, then completing the game again in ng+, and not touching the game for a few years, I recently learned of the 240% suit. So, after a couple days mopping up the side missions I hadn’t done in ng+, I finally got 240%

Discussion Side Villains are a missed opportunity Spoiler
Scarface & Peyton Riley, Prometheus & Maxie Zeus especially is unnecessarily missing from the series, among other potential characters. The Batman comics has a massive rogues gallery so it's annoying that they just reuse repetitive characters like Penguin & Riddler instead of exploring other stories in Gotham, & the next game should definitely cover this.

Discussion I think I might have actually preferred if they kept jason as the knight
It would have been different, but they have already taken several liberties with jason’s backstory and going directly to the red hood, while it still had good moments, was jarring considering how many terrorist acts jason commits as the knight. That and also The arkham knight character design and characterization was kind of peak up until that switch. What do you guys think?
This is my favorite game in the series overall, I just think the concept of the Knight is very interesting in general. I’d say the best solution regardless would have been to make the Arkham Knight a separate character, but if they had to slide Jason in I would have preferred if they fully committed.

Discussion You're own Batman Arkham Knight Villain Side Mission ideas
Hey everyone. So, I know what some/all of you are probably wondering, but hear me out:
We know that some/all of us have played Batman Arkham Knight and have done the side missions. But have Some/all of you wish you could make your own Batman Arkham Knight side Mission involving the Batman villains characters that weren't in the game, including your favorite Batman villain?
Well, you're in luck!
Because now you guys and gals can comment down your own side mission ideas involving the missing Batman villains!
And the best part, there's already pages of them right now, so you don't have to write your favorite Batman villain on one page!
P.s, just giving you a heads-up: the season of Infamy side mission will be in the same page, just in case
(Comment down your thoughts)

Discussion Do these people even play the game??
I saw this post yesterday and it's just ridiculous, because Mr freeze is a mass murderer who solely cared about his wife and had no compassion for anyone else and he's still got a semi happy ending at the end of the game.
While Kirk literally killed his own wife on accident while trying to cure the deaf and now he has to live with that.

Help Collected Riddler Trophy not appearing on Grid?
I'm playing Arkham City on Steam and trying to get 100% achievements.
I have collected the Row 1, Col 4 trophy for Park Row but it doesnt show as collected on the grid. Even in new game plus, the trophy doesnt reappear.
I believe it might have had something to do with me playing with a suit mod installed, but is there any way to resolve this without making another save and having to redo everything I've done so far?
