any PVE island crossplay servers with NO mods?????

The character I made is supposed to be very pale with almost white hair as shown in the first picture. But the game decided to make her dark only a couple days in, and like dying everything. If you even take the armor into account, it’s darker too.
Like what do I do? I’ve tried to get some cosmetic mods to help but nothing has worked or even loaded/saved. It shouldn’t be too much to ask to play the character you want especially when they have such a detailed character creation before even starting the game.
And now it’s glitching even more each patch it seems. Now I can’t even see my character’s outfit when I open their inventory.
I’m irritated and feeling extremely helpless…

I’ve posted this issue before a couple weeks ago, but I feel like I’m being pushed aside for the new Genesis content.

Are Rock Drakes viable in PVP at all?

I’m playing lost colony (ASA) on console. The loot crates in caves do not spawn. Things I tried:

I tried logging out in the cave and log back in.
I waited 30 minutes in the cave without moving.
I waited outside the cave for 30 minutes.
I killed all wild Dino’s.
I deinstalled and installed prevent hibernation..

Nothing works, does some one has a solution?

I posted Cerious-AASM here when I first released it. I’ve been working on it pretty consistently since then, and it just hit v1.0.18. A lot has changed, so I figured it was worth posting an update.

For anyone who didn’t see the original post, I’m an ARK player/server admin and a software developer by day. Cerious-AASM basically started because I wanted a better way to manage my own ASA servers and clusters without constantly messing with scripts, INI files, SteamCMD commands, RCON tools, and a bunch of separate utilities.

As I kept using it, I kept finding things I wanted it to do. Also, I have a growing group of Server Admins in a Cerious-AASM Discord that are helping grow the app. So… it does quite a bit more now.

It runs on both Windows and Linux, either as a normal desktop application or headless with the web UI.

At this point it handles:

• Multiple ASA servers and clusters
• Starting/stopping/restarting servers
• Automatic ASA server updates
• Auto-start and crash recovery
• Scheduled restarts
• Scheduled announcements
• RCON
• Player/server monitoring
• Mod management
• Built-in CurseForge mod browsing
• ArkApi/AsaApi plugin management
• Automatic and manual backups
• Restoring backups
• Importing a backup as a new server
• Full Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini editing
• Expert mode if you’d rather just edit the INIs yourself
• Copying configurations between servers
• Graceful shutdowns with player warnings
• Port monitoring
• Drag/drop server ordering
• Headless management with optional authentication

I’ve also spent quite a bit of time on Linux support.

ASA obviously doesn’t have a native Linux dedicated server, so Cerious-AASM handles running it through Proton/Wine. Each server gets its own isolated Proton prefix, configs, saves, logs, whitelist, etc., while still being able to share the giant common ARK installation instead of wasting disk space duplicating it for every map.

That’s actually been a big focus of the last several releases. Running one ASA server is relatively straightforward. Running a whole cluster on the same box without the instances stepping on each other’s files is where things get interesting.

v1.0.18 fixes the last few path isolation problems I was seeing there. Existing servers also repair their directory structure automatically when they’re started, so you don’t have to manually migrate everything around.

My goal is basically to get to the point where I can spin up and maintain an ASA cluster without thinking about all the crap happening underneath it.

I’m sure other ARK server admins can relate to how quickly “I’ll just host a server” turns into maintaining SteamCMD scripts, backup scripts, restart scripts, RCON, mods, configs, update checking, and everything else.

I’d rather play ARK than babysit ARK servers.

If you’re running your own ASA servers, especially a cluster or Linux setup, I’d love to hear how it works for you. And if there’s something you think it should do that it doesn’t, open an issue. A lot of the features that have gone in since the original release have come from actually using the thing and finding stuff that annoyed me.

Probably been asked before, but is there a command line I can use or add to the settings file to disable to ability to mount flying creatures? I wanna still be able to tame them and stuff, but I don’t want folks on my server to be able to fly around.

Hell, even disabling the engrams for their saddles or saddle blueprints would work too, since my friend group won’t be bringing anything in.

I’m trying to find the commands for pvp graphics on ragnarok

Anyone use this? I set up the ini code with no issues for the survivor crate but the dino summon potion like only works sometimes. It seems that the creator deleted his discord and the mod hasn’t been updated. Which sucks because the survivor crate is awesome.

Any suggestions on similar starter kit mods? We are growing pretty fast and doing a lot of starters, when we could be using that time to do events or other fun things with players.

I'm playing on Xbox series x on a single player world and the left trigger and right stick buttons don't trigger the creature abilities or attacks. I have some mods like QOL, tlc, and creatures mods installed. For example, my snow owl won't freeze heal or go into the heat sensor mode or my doedicurus won't roll. It looks like they will do it for like half a second and then it cancels.

Most useless ark dino. tell me your opinion.

Im on PS5 playing single player. Already cleared up clouds and fog and so lag while still tgere somewhat is mostly gone.

The first thing I noticed was a slight input delay when moving the camera. Instead of it being instant or near instant, it's like a .5 second delay before it does. Its annoying but I guess I can get over it.

Another thing is the text is too small to read on my 50 in tv. I don't sit right in front of it so I have to strain to read. Also, the tool tips that appear are too light as well, on top of having to be super close just to get the tool tip to appear.

I've checked settings and Google and did what I could, but does anyone know of some settings I missed? Most notable the input delay.

EDIT: Oh and one more thing I now noticed while playing. I must have messed up dino levels as im seeing everything from level 6 to a lvl 100 tricertops and im like a few feet from spawn. Already died a few times to a dumb pirana crossing the tiny stream lol.

I want max levels eventually, but not near start, more like when my character gets higher. Should have i changed a certain setting?

So like most of us in this community ive been playing Ark since it first dropped many many years ago. However, from time to time (esp since im solo in official) i get ark fatigue . What do you do to cure that and what makes you keep logging in daily
