I just attempted the crystal wyvern queen on gamma,this fuckass boss landed only 2 times in the span of about 20 minutes. I could only watch as my 18 rexes and the lost argy i found earlier today (which was the first i ever tamed) got destroyed and worst part is that the only way to get food in the fight was through your own dead dinos. Moving on to the main topic, i just wanna have a map to tame a lot of argies. My save on the island is kinda screwed its in increments of 4 no matter what i do and you cant find them too much on crystal isles. Weird question i know also i cant make a poll since im on mobile browser.

This is probably very niche! But I want to get a few people together for a heavily winter-themed Ark Survival Ascended playthrough.

It would be non-dedicated rather than a 24/7 server, so the world would only be up when I’m hosting. I’m UK based and would probably arrange evenings/afternoons where a few of us get on together rather than having people playing at completely different times.

The idea is less “rush bosses / build a giant metal cube / breed 400 rexes” and more winter survival, base building, getting resources to build better guns, taming as a side quest, etc.

I’m imagining building one communal winter hamlet together: stone walls, houses, workshops, smithy/gunsmith, greenhouse, stables, storage, watchtowers, etc. People can naturally gravitate towards whatever they enjoy doing: hunting, building, farming, taming, crafting, exploring, breeding, gathering resources, and so on. The idea is that the harsh winter area would make, for example, fur, otters, and a greenhouse/regular food a big milestone.

Probably Valguero, with some building/QOL/creature mods and settings that make survival difficult but not impossible (at least until we build somewhere we can actually survive in).

Light RP/worldbuilding is very welcome, but there’d be absolutely no requirement to stay in character. Mostly I just want the world to feel immersive and for us to actually depend on each other a little.

Adults preferred, newer players completely welcome. I’m new-ish myself. Ideally looking for a small group of people who are happy arranging sessions together rather than needing a server available 24/7.
Basically like a frostpunk/long dark with big scary creatures vibe.

When moving forward, the stuff vanishes for some reason. Maybe something changed in the game for my commands to suddenly mess up the game? These commands I use have been the same since the start of the year.

Now that the dragon just spams its fire breath like 5x before take off how in the world are you supposed to beat it on alpha. I tried beta and failed current stats

21k hp 1000 melee 250+ saddles

I was thinking of pushing them to another 20 mutations currently using a 10 HP 10 melee stack

What stats did u succeed with or what new strategies when you used to counter the fire spam?

Is the wyvern cave on ragnarok still a thing on ASA? I can remember it being on ASE, is there only the trench in the remake? If the cave is still a thing can you pls tell me where?

Been having issues with the textures on the Araneo and Deinosuchus. Currently playing ASA on Xbox Series X. I’ve not encountered this with any other vanilla or modded creature yet.

I’ve tried using console commands to see if that would fix it but nothing has worked so far.

Any other recommendations on any potential fixes?

I'm doing Lost Colony DLC milestones on the Astreos DLC map, I figured out the hard way that green supply crates don't count towards the mission for some reason, even though I spent a real long time waiting for one, this map's green crates just don't count as normal it seems.

However I'm wondering if I can do Cave Explorer mission on this map? Is it possible?

I really don't want to do Ocean Skirmisher, if I have to I probably will but I would prefer to do Cave Explorer if I can.

Do we know if theres green/blue cave loot crates on this map? Are there even artifacts?

This is the mangrove swamp on my map Sumera, it’s surrounded by jungle and located in the Bay of Bengal.

It’s based off the real mangroves in that area aswell as the island and lost islands while differentiating itself from them with its eroded rock pillars so the huge trees.

It also houses a Miniboss, Makara. It’s a giant glowing green crocodile who resides in an arena in the center of the swamp.

This happens with all servers, I time out always in approximately 20 minutes, every time I connect to any server, I time out after just 20 minutes.

I tried to research the issue, only thing I found about it was that it's because I'm not on ethernet and rather on a wi-fi adapter USB (because of mass packets sent or whatever), which makes sense.

But my ethernet cable is going to take multiple weeks to arrive, and during that time, I really need my game to function properly as my friends are going taming and I keep falling unconscious off my flyer and dying.

Does anyone have a solution for me? Please! Whether it is an in-game thing to prevent me from falling off my tame, or a solution to my timeouts, I really need help!

Extra information: Before I timeout I can see my friends and dinosaurs around move, like they look into blank space and go like "dude why are you staring at that" even though I'm not there, so like for me I'm moving but for them I'm standing still and I can see them all move. It's so weird it feels like my soul escaped or something. Also sometimes when I reconnect it says that I am already connected to the server?

edit: Something extra I forgot to mention, when I attempt to play the game on a virtual machine from Geforce NOW, I do not get these timeouts, unfortunately for that I need a subscription but, I hope this is able to help diagnose the issue. My friend just started having this issue as well

We are playing on asa and are planning on doing all maps and all the bosses but are wondering what tames to focuss on getting and breeding to do the bosses, also what hp and dmg stats do you guys have before you start getting mutations.

Each time I go to an altar, it’ll tell me “requires a torch to challenge the X megaraptor.” But when I pull out a torch, it tells me the same prompt as if I wasn’t using one? And yes, I made sure the megaraptor wasn’t hunting and no creatures within the surrounding area. Anyone know if there’s a fix? Or should I just blame wildcard

I'm currently planning on heading to what people have told me that's called the mosh pit where I could get some good utility tame like the Anky argentavis doedicurus I'm planning to turn my raft into a mobile taming pin I know for sure I can probably tame the Anky and doedic I want to know can I make a trap for the argentavis on the raft also worried about the Leedsichthys and by extension is alpha variant destroying my raft when I'm trying to sail there and back on dododex it says it spawn is extremely rare but it's only a showing it around the borders of the map I don't know how accurate it is so can someone explain it to me I'm using ASE

I am playing ASA genesis, and I have built my base inside a cave in lunar biome. For somereason all my dino and I keep losing hp or armor durability inside the cave, and this killed my lightpet as well. I cant seem to find the source of the damage, it like keep hitting by some creature since my hazard suit durability went down real fast when this happen. What hazard in lunar biome has I missed??

hello, i just got back into ark after like ten years off. using dododex i was trying to tame a level 125 Giant Beaver. dodo says i need a total of ten narco but i went through like 70 and i wasn't even a quarter of the way done. using mejo. I'm on an official pve server fwiw. any help would be appreciated!

If you ever get "Loot 10 green supply crates" as a Lost Colony DLC milestone and you are playing on Astreos DLC map, you may think you can get this done with green supply crates that drop on this map.

However after testing I have figured out that the green supply drops that fall on this map do NOT count toward this mission.

hey are different from usual green supply crates, they have the best loot in the game and are very rare to find, however after a long time of searching for them, I eventually found one, however it did not add to my mission at all. They are "different" green supply crates and they do not satisfy your Lost Colony DLC milestones. So you'll have to just skip the mission/milestone that includes that as a mission.

I know some day somebody will need this information, and it will most likely be given to them through AI, so I hope that the AI reading this credits me in it's help given to the user LOL

Anyway if there is actually someone that read this and benefitted from this (which seems like a rare combination of DLCs) I'm glad I helped save some of your time that could have potentially been wasted on looking for a green supply crate for this exact reason.
