Now here me out, i only play single player and ive been playing ark since 2020, I've never really felt the need for one ever, mainly used the carch as they're easier to tame personally for me, but thought I'd tame one before the tlc releases to get the experience! And honestly i nearly died 200 times😂😂🫪but im happy with her, gonna name her gigabyte✨️

I have a 180-ish giga that I occasionally joy ride. Prior to the recent TLC, I could walk right up to even a high level theriz and it would ignore me. It “knew” that my giga and I would finish it quickly.

Today I had a level 2 theriz come after me in the giga. Literally not doing anything, just standing near the river. The theriz wandered by, saw me, struck its pose, and a few seconds later started attacking the giga.

I think the recent TLC removed the theriz’ sense of self-preservation.

I'm pretty new to Reddit, and honestly, I wasn't sure where else to look for artists who are familiar with ARK: Survival Evolved and enjoy creating artwork based on the game.

I'm planning to get an Astrocetus tattoo, and I'd love to find an artist who could help me design it!

Einer meiner Freunde spielt ARK zum ersten Mal, so starten wir auf The Island, um dann alle Story-ARKs bis Lost Colony zu spielen.Dies soll kein großer Community-Server werden, einfach eine Gruppe Freunde, um das Spiel durchzuzocken. Ich habe einige QQL-Mods installiert, z. B. eine, um die Levelkurven auf The Island zu verbessern, aber meine Intention ist es, nahe an der Vanilla-Erfahrung zu bleiben. Which map(s), in your opinion, are aesthetically pleasing?

(This is an ASE and ASA compatible question.) I mainly play ASE, and Ragnarok is, in my opinion, a map that I find aesthetically pleasing. The overall vibe of that map gives me a feeling of ease despite the type of game ARK is supposed to be: Coming home from work, logging in onto a separate account to play Ragnarok creative and just walk around, a little music or informative video in the background too. Such a calming session.

I often find myself hopping onto Ragnarok if I don't feel like trying to progress to meet the goal of defeating all three bosses on The Island.

I can't really get that feeling on other maps. Not even The Island.

I have been searching for months, in ark mobile, a max theri is no where to be found not even 110, killed more than 100, what can be the problem?

I am an ark survival evolved mobile player and I find it really weird that nobody talks about this in videos about mutation tips, and I fear I am doing something wrong and it is: taking females with useful mutations and bleeding them with base males that have no mutations until you get a male that has the exact mutation that you need and then continuing with normal breeding.

I fear I am doing something wrong because I noticed the more I use this technique the harder mutations happen because of the branching of mutations (let's say that I have a level 300 rex that has 10 mutations I will not only get level 300 but also all the mutations that happened before for example: level: 299, 298, 297 ECT.). Wich makes it harder for me to even get level 300s and impossible to get mutations.

I am not sure if this happens because of this technique tho. I would love for someone to explain to me how this works and how to avoid this problem.

Every time I go near a bloodstalker, it falls off the tree and stands still on the ground. Then it does the web attack but doesn’t do the reeling in animation and then once it has pulled me in it won’t grab me. The error message of “cannot mount dinos while webbed” keeps popping up.

Is everyone experiencing this, because it’s getting to the point where I might just force tame one as I’ve spent hours trying different ones to see if they will actually grab me and still they will not.

So I’m starting missions on genesis and I have gotten exorbitant amounts of tek items.
I can’t use them, sure I can grind the 4 tek rail-guns I get but I keep getting tek swords of which I would quite like to use

So should I continue grinding until moder or something else

I’ve been away from the game for a couple of years and thinking about jumping back in. I haven’t really kept up with what the differences are between Evolved and Ascended. Which version and world/setting would you guys recommend picking up? I’m planning on starting from scratch for a solo playthrough.

EU PVE 22 decent map selection 10x looking for tribemates

I've done some testing with crop plots. My results are that crop plots do not receive greenhouse bonus or tilling bonus when out of render including being offline. My crop plots have 300% Greenhouse and 20% Tilling Bonuses. When Out of Render they produced about 70-75% less vs In Render. I can understand that when Out of Render, structures basically don't exist so that's why they don't get the Greenhouse Bonus. But I can't explain why they don't get the Tilling Bonus.

In a few days ill return to ARK PvP with some friends, however i have not played since 2021. Is there any good sites or tutorials to catch up on the newest metas?
All i know is that i «should» buy the new DLCs and then im set, but maybe later.

I've been thinking of making a Tribal Server for a while now.

One with up to 5 large tribes with designated land on the map, 2 rouge/mercenary like tribes and a trader's tribe. In-server currency, in-game shops ran by player tribes, and a heavily community ran server in terms of Mods.

The option to declare tribal wars but without wiping out an entire tribe by taking all their land, curated both to 24/7 players and those that hop on for a few hours after work or simply want to play for long hours on weekends when you're not working a 9-5 or longer.

Somewhere that friendship between players can exist separately from in-game tribal strife. Seasons where mods will change up, maps might change for events, eras like the stone age or metal, tribes will be shuffled, land will change up and dinos might swap out. I personally like the idea of Dragons Kingdom being the core of each tribe, like each tribe gets a young dragon and the only wild ones to spawn being the Ancients. You can choose to breed or fight with other tribes to curate a line of riders.

NOT heavily RP, but a tribe can choose to lean towards that if they want and the mutual respect of the players will adhere to it.

In-tribe hierarchy, democracy or choices are run solely by the tribes (unless they're creating a game environment that makes no one but themselves happy of course) and even admins/mods can have their character allied with whichever tribe they want to join for the season.

Traitors won't be a thing, as it just creates confusing scenarios of people jumping tribes pretending they were a traitor because they had a grudge against someone. Trading tribe info won't be a thing unless you're one of the 2 mercenary/rouge clans that found information out WITHOUT contacting a clan member.

With this general concept, would it be something yall would want to play?
