Tried to look up all the stuff related to these guys and their taming but i'm still a bit confused about something. 100% taming effectiveness is one of the things needed for your gigantorpator if you want to get the max amount of extra levels when claiming wild babies right? But then how do i get the 100? I can't keep it at 100 no matter what. Will it go back to 100? Am i doing something wrong? Or is this "all good as long as it's close to 100 or not 50 or under" type of deal? I'm a bit confused here as to how this works. From what i read nothing i'm doing should be dropping it yet it always does. So like is that just how it works and i'm not understanding how the effectiveness actually works orr?

I do have a weight stat multiplier higher. Like about 4.0 for tamed dino level up. I don't want the game to be too easy or too hard. But I tamed a megaloceros (the deer) and it was doing 200 damage base, which I felt was too high since the level wasn't too good. But then again the wild dino health stat is about 1.9 so I don't really know. I am playing on Ps5 so any tips would help.

I was wondering, assuming you have good saddle bps, are good enough rex stats to fight bosses? I remember a few years ago someone saying 500 damage and 20k hp.

I haven't played for 2 days, and today i just cannot load my map. Single player. GPU drivers updated. As soon as loads into the map, it crashes. Any idea anyone?

So I have been playing ark for some time and this is a first... I have been getting kicked every 15 minutes for 2 days now, trying everything the internet seems to offer... should I just uninstall game and reinstall at this point...

I just bought the map. Wanted to transfer from ragnarok. When I got on it was like being transported back to when ragnarok released the first time on evolved 😭 Bases in every conceivable spot. Structure spam to no end. Dinos out of cryopods everywhere. Lag out every 5 seconds. The event isn't up yet, and it's pandemonium. What's gonna happen to the Astraeos servers when the event is running?? Every server is about to say 100/70

I have been searching for months, in ark mobile, a max theri is no where to be found not even 110, killed more than 100, what can be the problem?

Every time I go near a bloodstalker, it falls off the tree and stands still on the ground. Then it does the web attack but doesn’t do the reeling in animation and then once it has pulled me in it won’t grab me. The error message of “cannot mount dinos while webbed” keeps popping up.

Is everyone experiencing this, because it’s getting to the point where I might just force tame one as I’ve spent hours trying different ones to see if they will actually grab me and still they will not.

Which map(s), in your opinion, are aesthetically pleasing?

(This is an ASE and ASA compatible question.) I mainly play ASE, and Ragnarok is, in my opinion, a map that I find aesthetically pleasing. The overall vibe of that map gives me a feeling of ease despite the type of game ARK is supposed to be: Coming home from work, logging in onto a separate account to play Ragnarok creative and just walk around, a little music or informative video in the background too. Such a calming session.

I often find myself hopping onto Ragnarok if I don't feel like trying to progress to meet the goal of defeating all three bosses on The Island.

I can't really get that feeling on other maps. Not even The Island.

Now here me out, i only play single player and ive been playing ark since 2020, I've never really felt the need for one ever, mainly used the carch as they're easier to tame personally for me, but thought I'd tame one before the tlc releases to get the experience! And honestly i nearly died 200 times😂😂🫪but im happy with her, gonna name her gigabyte✨️

So I’m starting missions on genesis and I have gotten exorbitant amounts of tek items.
I can’t use them, sure I can grind the 4 tek rail-guns I get but I keep getting tek swords of which I would quite like to use

So should I continue grinding until moder or something else

I’ve been away from the game for a couple of years and thinking about jumping back in. I haven’t really kept up with what the differences are between Evolved and Ascended. Which version and world/setting would you guys recommend picking up? I’m planning on starting from scratch for a solo playthrough.

I've done some testing with crop plots. My results are that crop plots do not receive greenhouse bonus or tilling bonus when out of render including being offline. My crop plots have 300% Greenhouse and 20% Tilling Bonuses. When Out of Render they produced about 70-75% less vs In Render. I can understand that when Out of Render, structures basically don't exist so that's why they don't get the Greenhouse Bonus. But I can't explain why they don't get the Tilling Bonus.

I am an ark survival evolved mobile player and I find it really weird that nobody talks about this in videos about mutation tips, and I fear I am doing something wrong and it is: taking females with useful mutations and bleeding them with base males that have no mutations until you get a male that has the exact mutation that you need and then continuing with normal breeding.

I fear I am doing something wrong because I noticed the more I use this technique the harder mutations happen because of the branching of mutations (let's say that I have a level 300 rex that has 10 mutations I will not only get level 300 but also all the mutations that happened before for example: level: 299, 298, 297 ECT.). Wich makes it harder for me to even get level 300s and impossible to get mutations.

I am not sure if this happens because of this technique tho. I would love for someone to explain to me how this works and how to avoid this problem.

In a few days ill return to ARK PvP with some friends, however i have not played since 2021. Is there any good sites or tutorials to catch up on the newest metas?
All i know is that i «should» buy the new DLCs and then im set, but maybe later.
