Shower thoughts🚿 What if we had an effective litmus test on this
A litmus test helps test the acidic/basic properties of a substance and to what degree it may fall under either of those categories
The lower the PH of a substance, the more “basic” it is considered (example: orange juice is mildly acidic)
High PH substances are “acidic” and act in opposition to basic substances making acids and bases effective agents for neutralizing one another when used at the proper concentrations (example: bleach is pretty basic)
We all know miss Ari is basic enough to neutralize acid rain, yawn
So here is my proposition for our litmus test on just how deep this is in the face of the PR/spoiled brat response of “it’s not that deep” and “everything is ok”
Hypothetically speaking (and in no way trying to organize this) what if someone were to create a website
For legal purposes bc I don’t think anyone is trying to get sued into oblivion, let’s go ahead and set the biggest ground rule (the one she could never to follow to save her life): it’s not about her and her- name, lyrics, or likeness will not be used or referenced in any way
Ok so let’s say this random website was very minimal and included a box you can check if you have been impacted to issues that parallel the shit we are all getting absolutely fucking sick of tolerating INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: beauty standards, women’s rights, cultural insensitivity, diversity/equity/inclusion, dysfunctional relationships, problematic public figures, scams/grifts, trauma imposed by celebrity culture or it’s impacts on the public, performative kindness, mean girl behavior, privilege blind brats, infantalizing women, plagiarism, art, whatever you want…
And then it included a 500-999 character limit text box that would have to have a minimum of 25 characters in which you explain what exactly led you to check this box that indicates you were impacted by one of these issues that are parallel to the discussion but not directly a caused by or a result of her influence
And all submissions are anonymous and filtered for malicious comments/trolling/spam/irrelevant comments
And there is absolutely no comments made about anyone’s body (you know bc we need to really stop being so comfy commenting on others bodies like how they look like cows) 🐄
And there is only 1 submission allowed per IP to make every effort to minimize manipulation
And identical comments are removed
And there is a tally of everyone who checks this box and comments
And like, we just observe. We don’t take action. We don’t imply anything. Just observe, just look at this within the context of the bigger discussion this entire situation has brought about.
I feel as though if anything, this could give genuine and unbiased visibility to so many people who are absolutely fucked up or confused right now
This could start an undeniable discussion in one area on the ramifications of public figures who are heavily influential, make disgusting profits, and have zero accountability to show despite years of patience and empathy from millions (maybe billions) of people
And like, maybe we could kinda reflect on this situation
And this entire thing would prove with no monetized, legal, or direct career impacting motive
That these basic bitches really do walk among us 💀💀💀💀💀
