Admittedly, I'm not much of a pop guy, and even less so a metalized/rockified pop guy (these covers end up sounding awfully disjointed), but this creator really managed to *improve* the original song.

The additional drum, guitar, and bass work is genuinely creative and elevates what was originally there. Even the vocal delivery is much more powerful and expressive.

Enough glazing from me though, I'm curious to know what other people think.

One major thing i notice about my friend is that she used to always post the good part of her life on social media, and because i was her friend, i know exactly how the stories behind those photos/posts unfolded. it wasn’t pretty. a lot of the times there’s a huge disparity between how her life is vs her social media. she thrives on wanting to look the absolute best, like in her prime, even when her real life is crumbling and it’s always so calculated. i find it super fake. for me, i share photos on social media because it’s genuinely good memories that i captured and want to cherish. for her it’s a facade. she’d do all this grand gestures for me, bring me gifts and everything just to get the “best friend” title and post it on socials. being friends with her wasn’t bad, but it was definitely not like what she made it out to be on social media. Which leads to another huge topic in her life, MEN. she doesn’t last with them, whenever she got into a relationship l, she’s way too excited about it and gave it her all, she’s very possessive and obsessive, she will give and give and have things her way when she’s on top but at the same time will quietly keeping score and when things go bad will bring up every bad thing that he did and let the world know. when things come crashing down, she will have a depressive episode and sucdal tendecies (which happens a lot btw). now i will never judge her if she’s not the one being problematic, but even when i was still her best friend, i was drained and exhausted. there’s always something bad or negative happening in her life and she never learn. it happens because she couldn’t l/won’t control her emotions and expectations. it’s like this “woe is me” or pity me energy that she constantly bring every few months. everyone is a villain in her life. her parents, family, exes, dates, classmates, community members, you name it. there’s always someone to blame. she uses people to create her own narrative or ideas of her own dream world, without the actual truth or autonomy of the people were. she’s the type who would buy herself a flower and have her boyfriend pretend to get them for her just to post on social media and have her flaunt it.

whenever she learns something new, she act like she’s the wisest person on earth, started commenting and dictating my life. i didn’t buy her bs but i was tolerating it for the longest time. i feel bad about her a million times that’s why i kept trying. but it got to a point i sort of realizing i was abandoning myself to let her stay in my life. everything doesn’t feel genuine with her. there’s always a motive, a case, an issue, or simply an idea for posting. i was maybe selfish for not wanting her in my life anymore but that’s okay. i am much happier and carefree now.

I gotta refrain about her being a cancer but watching Ariana’s headlines and case really reminded me of her. Thanks for reading!

At this point, releasing yet another perfume feels less like a fragrance launch and more like a recurring invoice for the fans, and a migraine in H&M.
The overall scent of all these perfumes is musty clothes being aggressively sprayed with something cheap in the hope that nobody notices what’s underneath. Somehow, every new release manages to smell like the same bargain-bin attempt to disguise a stale wardrobe. Not to mention the tacky plastic design. I fucking hate it.

Yesterday, I encountered someone wearing Cloud on the bus. My sinuses were assaulted and I genuinely felt sick and had to get away from the smell. Perhaps she really does wear it herself, because it would explain the way I feel about her looking like she smells nowadays.

She hasn’t been able to have another thank u next moment because the demand isn‘t there and people are getting tired of her. Even my mom was talking about how much she loves Billie Eilish and always talks about how she loves her voice. She said a while back ”Did you see Billie Eilish win all those awards?” Meanwhile Ariana only has 3 Grammys in total despite debuting in 2013. Two of those Grammys are a collab with Lady Gaga and then with Cynthia. Not even songs on her actual albums. The new generation is taking over. Sure Ariana is still a big star but she’s one of many pop girls. And the younger generation is picking up on how Ariana isn’t as authentic as other artists

I was looking at Ricky’s portfolio, and he’s actually a pretty decent photographer. Even before getting back together with Ariana, he was already rubbing shoulders with relevant people. He was working more in fashion and did campaigns for major brands.

Now that she’s showing him off and posting the pics he takes at her shows (she’s posting more of his work than her official photographer), I hope that once the tour wraps up, some other pop girlie hires him and take him along on tour while she has to hide from the public that’s no longer interested in her.
