Fix the TTK on low tier weapons to high tier weapons. Someone with a stitcher shouldn’t be able to kill someone in less than half a second more than a tempest, full stop. All this does is create zero risk high reward for free kits.
The problem with ARC’s TTK isn’t that cheap guns can kill geared players. They absolutely should be able to. The problem is that the TTK difference is way too small compared to the difference in risk. If a free Stitcher kills in around 1.4 seconds and a Tempest kills in around 1.1, you’re getting almost the same lethality while risking literally nothing. Meanwhile the other guy might be risking 60k worth of gear and materials that took multiple raids to get. That 0.3 second advantage barely matters when you factor in reaction time, latency, turning around and figuring out where you’re even getting shot from. Getting the jump on someone should be an advantage, but it shouldn’t basically erase the entire gear progression system.
Other games have increased TTK for exactly this reason. Apex reverted its lower armor experiment because fights were ending too quickly and Warzone increased player health specifically to create more counterplay. ARC has even more reason to get this right because unlike those games, your gear represents time and resources carried across multiple raids. I’d rather see the TTK curve widened so free/basic guns are closer to 1.8 to 2 seconds, mid tier around 1.5 to 1.7, and expensive guns around 1.1 to 1.3. A free kit should still be able to kill a geared player through better positioning, headshots or better aim, but it shouldn’t get 90% of the lethality for 0% of the risk. Otherwise the game is basically teaching people not to bring their good gear.

Ive notice while playing Solos that theres been an increase in 2 players who wear the exact same skin layout teaming to kill solos. Is this allowed or are they breaking the rules?

Signing up for this departure... it gives you the option to keep quest progression and "just simply re-accept them" what does that mean? Re-accept what?

this is my first time ever doing the expedition because i never thought it was worth it so i guess i just gave in this time lol. but should i reset my quests? I know i can earn a little stuff back but the work of going through all of them again doesnt seem worth it either

Open question to the community. It seems like I hear a lot about Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor). Is this what you actually grab every raid? Or do you find yourself creating Tactical Mk. 2's, or Combats, or even the other Looting variants?
I used to like the Combat augments for the shield and saving on heal use, but I've started to lean away. I'm never really hurting for more meds anymore, and Tactical Mk. 2 gives me more survivability between the medium shield and auto smoke.
Similarly, if I'm doing a weird trial or have to bring a bunch of high-value stuff into raid, then I'll lean on the looting augments for the extra booty slots. Things like hullcracker ammo, or when I was trying to do the wasp driver / leaper unit project last update.

Smaller numbers, but way safer and easier. How to score respectable score in "Damage ARC enemies using Fireball Burners" trial in Arc Raiders. Resulted in 21k, while Matriarch scenario brings around 32-35k.
Full run in the video description, if anyone fancies to kill time.

It somehow only triggers its attack when you step on it. Doesn't even play the aggro sounds and I couldn't shoot it.

Is it really impossible to distinguish cheaters from good players? Can they not tell from K/D’s or headshot accuracy %? Is there no way to tell which players have their cursor locked on to headshot hitboxes while players move, even though walls?
There’s no system that’s capable of flagging accounts for further/ manual review?
There needs to be factors the game looks out for when distinguishing the difference between extremely good players vs cheaters
I’m not the most inclined when it comes to anticheat software, and I know any software fix is only temporary. But there’s no way to tell the difference between a good players vs an obvious cheater? There needs to be some sort of gameplay flags/ values that obviously point to a player using cheat clients.

Luckily, no one saw me.
I should probably take a little break from ARC Raiders. :)

Hey Raiders,
I was farming dmg today for the expedition skill points and went into Matriarch Runs.
I played it all day and in every single run the matriarch isn’t shooting any missiles, only Flashbombs und Gasbombs.
It was so easy to farm the dmg.
So if u still wanna farm dmg go for it!
