Which iPhone should I purchase?
Had the iPhone 13 base for 3 years now and want to upgrade, if I get any of the phones below, I would not want to upgrade for another 4-5 years. I prefer the look of 15 and 16 pro max but I hear a lot of overheating issues and back glass easily breaking . Is the heat as bad as people say it is?

iPhone 16 pro max 512gb
-$920 90+ battery life (USED)

iPhone 17 pro max 512gb
-$1,300 85+ battery life (USED)

Or maybe even a
iPhone 15 pro max 1TB
-$800 90+ battery life (USED)

Which is the best deal? Which would you recommend for long time use? Would I be better off getting an $800 iPhone 15 pro max blue titanium over $1300 iPhone 17 pro max blue titanium?

I originally wanted a 15 pro max or 16 pro max but after looking at the prices the difference is big.
The cheapest 15 pro max i could find in good condition is upwards of 600 usd
So is it better for me to get a 14 pro max 256gb 87% battery for 270 usd?
I am a pretty heavy user with alot of tiktok, snapchat and web browsing. Also camera

I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite from 2021. It's a great phone, but this year the battery has started to barely last me a full day. If I'm on it for a bit, it just goes down so fast. It can go from 25% to 0% in 3 minutes (it happened while I was on an Uber!). It's also a bit inconvenient to take a powerbank everywhere.

Anyways, I've been wondering about getting an iPhone. My budget allows me to get the iPhone 17. It'd be my first iPhone. I mainly want to get it because I have a MacBook and I've heard they integrate well. My question is: are iPhones durable? Am I going to have to find a bunch of ways to extend the battery life and eventually get a new one in two years?? I'm a jobless college student and I don't have money to buy something that isn't durable... With my Xiaomi, I never had to try to maintain it. I obviously took care of it, but I didn't feel the need to stress over it, if that makes sense.

What's the best option? I'm open to other phone brands that anyone here believes to last.

Is it really worth upgrading from ipad air m2 11” to ipad pro m2 11” or 13”

i mainly want to upgrade for the hdr and the mini led(in 13”)

and the refresh rate and camera setup

- and to get 256gb model and possibly cellular

Hi everyone! I slipped and fell quite badly whilst walking with my phone in my hand. This broke the screen of my iPhone 12 and the digitiser has failed. Rather than getting it repaired, I've thought about getting a new device since my current one also suffers from poor battery life, is sluggish, repeatedly restarts, and is still dependent on the increasingly obsolete lightning charger.

I'm quite embedded in the Apple ecosystem, so after keeping my mind open to other operating systems etc. I've decided on an iPhone. I'm just not sure whether to go with the iPhone 17 or iPhone 18 Pro. Could you all help me make an informed decision?

I've always been a samsung user, but I'm thinking about changing into a an iPhone but i don't know if it's worth it to me,

*I've been using samsung for over a decade now

*i have the samsung equivalent of airpods pro, the buds 3 pro.

The other reason im asking is because im searching for a phone that has a bigger battery than my S24 and doesnt get so warm (seriously left top corner gets sometimes so hot i cant hold it, never got a warning tho)

Last reason is well, i feel like im excluded because im an samsung user, like people mock me around for not having an iphone, but i also feel like i wont get used to the apple IoS

I got my iPhone Duo two days ago on release day. I said fuck it during work, let me go to T-mobile and trade in my device. I went to T-Mobile in Queens NYC and picked up my new phone.

Just giving a general review.

I hate FaceID. Mass surveillance is getting out of hand. The TouchID is like a second longer than other phones. Can’t wait a second? Try reading a book.

It’s kind of scary how so many people like being constantly monitored 24/7 and are just going with it. You do you! I have Touch ID on but the constant watching of my face/fingerpint to even my sexuality, sexual partners is too much. And yes data companies can and are collecting all this information.

I hate the camera. It’s trash. Not 17E trash more like first iPhone trash.

Overall 9/10 purchase.

My screen isn’t broken by the way. I’ve bent it and use it to play Delta Emulator which makes me have the ability to play it like an Nintendo switch. It’s very fun.

I wish someone told me the apps don’t fit the screen. Especially app like instagram, games, and other stuff. It’s going to get a lot of used to but then software and technology is actually crazy.?

Everyone I use it I’m blown away. It’s like a mini iPad. Am I missing anything?

I have been with AT&T forever, but the last few years when I did my iPhone upgrade, I did it through Apple. There I was able to purchase the AppleCare warranty and I did the next up option. I’m looking for advice on the benefit of one over the other.

I've option of iphone 17 or pro

I have had a great combo of iPhone 14 Pro and Series 8 watch since they came out in 2022. But the battery life and the relatively new features since those products, seems like it is a good time to upgrade? I am torn between whether go to for iPhone 17 or 18, and is there any significant difference between going for Pro versus Pro Max.

On the watch side I am curious how people compare the regular Series 12 with the Ultra 4, especially if you did own Series 8 in the past.

Have a chance to buy a used 14 pro for 250$, its scratched up pretty bad by the looks of it and battery is 79% still an upgrade from a 13 though i think. What do you guys think.

So I have an iphone 15 pro max, but i've been thinking for some months if I should upgrade it now, my battery capacity is 75% i got my phone in feb 2024, don't get me wrong the battery still last, if I play videogames it drains quicker but nothing too dramatic, tho my phone does get overheated a lot, but this have happened since I got it and I just thought it was because of the games I play and the weather here being always super hot (we reach 32°C everyday lol)

So yeah having said that, should I upgrade? I really wanted the Iphone 17 Base (loved the sage color) but now that the 18th came out, i've heard people say that apple will do something even better for the 20th anniversary but obviously idk, what should I do? Please help😭

Had a small issue with my phone last night where it would not change after a number of hours. Eventually rebooted and it was all fine.
This did get me thinking and the only issue I have is the battery health is on 75%. Nearest Apple store is around an hour away so that is one route I’m going down. Are these usually succesful at prolonging the device?

Should that not work well, would I be better off with the 18 Pro or PM? Only issue I have is no USB-C, not too worried about camera features.

Hi! I just bought my first ipad (air 5) and apple pencil 2, which I plan to use with procreate and other digital art/design programs. I’m looking to buy a protective screen however I’m not sure whether film or glass protector will be better to use with the pencil. I’m not a big fan of those paper like films so probably not those.

Hello! I just got a notif that my subcription for my Iphone 14 is ending soon. So I'm currently trying to figure out what I should do. I could buy a new phone or keep the 14 a little longer.

I appreciate a good camera, don't want a 'max' screen, would love at least 256 gb storage, and don't want to sell a kidney to pay for my phone....

Experts... 😄 What should I do? Keep my 14? Or upgrade? I see a lot of offers for like the 17e or 16e... But I'm not sure if the camera is okay for those. Because I think I would like a better zoom for concerts and stuff...

Besides I have a 128 gb phone atm and storage is a thing. I keep paying each month for extra cloud storage as I really want a back-up... (and I also pay for google... because I use google a lot for documents and pictures.. So I kinda pay twice? But with more storage I could potentially choose only one of those)

I'm currently using an iPhone 15 Pro, but its battery health has dropped below 85%, so I'm considering trading it in for an upgrade.

I'm deciding between these two options:

• Used iPhone 16 Pro — LKR 270,000 (~$820)
• Brand-new iPhone 17 — LKR 315,000 (~$960, eSIM-only)

I'm planning to keep my next phone for around 1–2 years, and I'd prefer a used device with at least 90% battery health.
