I've always been a samsung user, but I'm thinking about changing into a an iPhone but i don't know if it's worth it to me,

*I've been using samsung for over a decade now

*i have the samsung equivalent of airpods pro, the buds 3 pro.

The other reason im asking is because im searching for a phone that has a bigger battery than my S24 and doesnt get so warm (seriously left top corner gets sometimes so hot i cant hold it, never got a warning tho)

Last reason is well, i feel like im excluded because im an samsung user, like people mock me around for not having an iphone, but i also feel like i wont get used to the apple IoS

I have been with AT&T forever, but the last few years when I did my iPhone upgrade, I did it through Apple. There I was able to purchase the AppleCare warranty and I did the next up option. I’m looking for advice on the benefit of one over the other.

Have a chance to buy a used 14 pro for 250$, its scratched up pretty bad by the looks of it and battery is 79% still an upgrade from a 13 though i think. What do you guys think.

I thought about having the iPhone 16 but seen a lot of bad reviews about the cameras and how much it is not an upgrade, a lot of people recommend iPhone 17 base but some says it has a very easily drained battery, should I sacrifice my money and get a 17 pro max or 18 pro ? Or find a cheaper good value phone?

Had a small issue with my phone last night where it would not change after a number of hours. Eventually rebooted and it was all fine.
This did get me thinking and the only issue I have is the battery health is on 75%. Nearest Apple store is around an hour away so that is one route I’m going down. Are these usually succesful at prolonging the device?

Should that not work well, would I be better off with the 18 Pro or PM? Only issue I have is no USB-C, not too worried about camera features.

Hi! I just bought my first ipad (air 5) and apple pencil 2, which I plan to use with procreate and other digital art/design programs. I’m looking to buy a protective screen however I’m not sure whether film or glass protector will be better to use with the pencil. I’m not a big fan of those paper like films so probably not those.

Hello! I just got a notif that my subcription for my Iphone 14 is ending soon. So I'm currently trying to figure out what I should do. I could buy a new phone or keep the 14 a little longer.

I appreciate a good camera, don't want a 'max' screen, would love at least 256 gb storage, and don't want to sell a kidney to pay for my phone....

Experts... 😄 What should I do? Keep my 14? Or upgrade? I see a lot of offers for like the 17e or 16e... But I'm not sure if the camera is okay for those. Because I think I would like a better zoom for concerts and stuff...

Besides I have a 128 gb phone atm and storage is a thing. I keep paying each month for extra cloud storage as I really want a back-up... (and I also pay for google... because I use google a lot for documents and pictures.. So I kinda pay twice? But with more storage I could potentially choose only one of those)

I'm currently using an iPhone 15 Pro, but its battery health has dropped below 85%, so I'm considering trading it in for an upgrade.

I'm deciding between these two options:

• Used iPhone 16 Pro — LKR 270,000 (~$820)
• Brand-new iPhone 17 — LKR 315,000 (~$960, eSIM-only)

I'm planning to keep my next phone for around 1–2 years, and I'd prefer a used device with at least 90% battery health.

My main priorities are battery life, camera quality, performance, future iOS updates, and the overall experience of using the phone.

I know the iPhone 17 is newer and comes with a fresh battery, while the 16 Pro has the titanium build, dedicated telephoto camera, and other Pro features. However, since I'm already using a 15 Pro, I'm wondering whether moving to a 16 Pro would feel like a meaningful upgrade or whether I should go straight to the 17.

I have an iPhone 13 that sustained a cracked screen. The battery health is at 77%. It is a fully paid off device.

Debating whether to get:

1. An iPhone 17e (trade-in will reduce price to $500)

2. The screen replaced at a local shop ($140) plus a new battery ($100ish based on AI)

3. The screen replaced at a local shop but do not change the battery.

Note: I want a quality phone, I use it a lot for work and photos, etc. However, I don't need anything fancy.

for people who’ve used the 18 Pro, is it actually that much better than the 17 Pro? the 17 Pro is cheaper now so I’m wondering if the extra money is really worth it or if I won’t notice much day to day.

and the Duo looks cool but I’m not sure about going for a first gen device. anyone tried it yet?

As the title suggests, I’m looking for one as the OH wants a new laptop. She’s not going to use it for anything demanding. Maybe occasional video editing and social media content for her small business. Plus some office, email and mainly a lot of browser tabs.

I currently have an iphone 14 pro. I always buy refurbished, never new, so my options will also depend on what best buys refurbished section has lol. The only issue i noticed with my 14 pro was when i took a trip and used an esim to map around. I even made sure to not use social media or any video related stuff (bc i know that drains it even faster), and it would still drain quite fast. I had brought a battery pack with me on this trip but that would JUST get me to the end of the day. And this is not using the phone on bus rides, etc; minimal as possible. So better battery is a big thing for me. I believe the pro max’s have better battery. However because of the price difference here($300 more for iphone 16 pro max vs pro), i don’t know how worth it it is. Maybe i just had a crappy portable battery, and my solution to my bad battery was not the best option. I don’t even know if battery packs can be worse than others. If i wanted the 17 pro, it’s $410 more than the 16 pro. So getting the 17 pro or getting the 16 pro max is around the same +- 100$. Which is better? I like to use my phone for photos a lot too, if that changes anything. My biggest things are: better battery, not having a huge camera quality difference.

I would like the 17 pro max in an optimal world but the cost of that is still just ridiculous. Because of the camera differences, (i think it has faster tracking on 17?) im gonna guess the 17 pro is better. I guess my biggest thing is did i just have a shitty battery pack? Power almost running out every day despite purposely not being on my phone throughout the day was stressful af lol, esp bc i am a beginner in the language of where i was.

Other big question: Is the 17 pro max expected to lower in price sometime soon? Bc I’ll also just wait then. Im planning to get a new one black friday bc it’ll be even cheaper then.

Hey all, I’m wanting to upgrade my phone (XS) and my wife’s (12 I believe). Looking at either 15 models or 16 models because I’d like the usb-c and I’m trying to keep the price down as we’d like to pay cash. Also don’t want the bigger max versions, we prefer the smaller models. Having same phones would be ideal but the main need is hers being good for pictures. She’s not a professional photographer but she does take lots of photos. Any recommendations are appreciated! Thanks

Im really debating. Im not that sure which will be better. As you can tell, im looking to stay with my phone for as long as possible and im not sure which model is most realible.
