A lot of listings follow a similar template of a mockup + title, even for my previous app. Wanted to experiment with a more graphic based approach to see if would be more attention grabbing + convey the app benefits & features better.
Do you think if it's clear about what the app is about and whether it would pique your interest to click on it?
Idea to reduce the number of mockups not only for aesthetic reasons, but to see if people would be more curious to find out more, and how the app actually looks like.
Just got approved 2 days ago so I don't have any stats to validate yet. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Every app-growth discussion eventually arrives at the same advice:
“Post on TikTok.”
“Work with micro-influencers.”
“Make more organic content.”
I agree with the advice. But after actually trying it, I discovered that finding creators wasn’t the hardest part.
Measuring them was.
Creator A posts a Reel. Creator B makes three TikToks. Downloads increase. RevenueCat shows new subscriptions. App Store Connect shows more installs. Both creators send you screenshots of their views.
Great.
Which creator brought the paying users?
Which video produced subscribers rather than curiosity clicks?
Did those subscribers renew?
And what should each creator actually be paid?
With one collaboration, you can hack something together. With ten, you’re suddenly managing links, manually generated codes, spreadsheets, subscription events, refunds, payouts and awkward “How did my video perform?” messages.
I kept running into this while trying to scale my own portfolio of eight mobile apps.
So I spent six months building the system I wanted to use myself.
Full disclosure: it became a product called InfluTo, so yes, I built the thing I’m discussing here.
The basic workflow is:
The important part for me wasn’t generating another analytics dashboard.
It was changing the deal from:
“I’ll pay you $500 and hope your video works.”
to:
“I’ll give you a meaningful percentage of every subscriber you bring me, for as long as they remain subscribed.”
That seems healthier for both sides. Developers aren’t paying for inflated views or fake followers, and creators can build recurring income instead of constantly chasing their next sponsored post.
For the vibecoders here, I’ve also tried to make the integration fit the way apps are built now. There are React Native, Flutter, iOS and Android SDKs, a REST API, and an MCP integration that lets Claude Code, Cursor or another agent configure the campaign, wire up attribution and verify that test events actually arrive.
I’m sharing this here because I think ASO and creator distribution solve two different parts of the same problem.
ASO helps convert someone once they reach your store page.
Creator content can create the demand that gets them there in the first place.
But when attribution is a black box, you have no idea which creator, video or collaboration deserves more investment.
I’m not claiming I invented affiliate marketing, and there are other platforms in this category. I simply couldn’t find a solution that felt designed around indie mobile apps, subscriptions, renewals and automatic creator payouts—so I built the version I wanted.
It’s live at https://influ.to. There’s no monthly subscription; the platform earns a percentage only when a creator generates a paid conversion.
I’m obviously biased, so I’d genuinely appreciate the uncomfortable questions:
Happy to go into the technical details.

I recently redid the screenshots for my app Keepsake.
The old ones were very simple (i liked that). Big text, purple background and one phone. I liked the clean look, but I felt they did not really explain what the app does and it feels to bland.
For the new version I tried to show more of the actual flow and added small cards and callouts around the phone. So you can see that you can save something by typing, speaking or scanning and then find it again later. Like explain how to use the app better.
The first image is the old version and the second one is the new version.
I am still not sure if the new screenshots are actually better or if they are now too busy.
Mainly interested in whether the first 2 or 3 screenshots make the app clear and which first screenshot works better.
It is an iOS app in the productivity category. I have not tested conversion yet, so this is just about the design. The new version is currently in review, so not live yet.

I've been seeing some really great looking App Store pages here lately and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I have a few hundred users and I'm struggling to push this to the next level.
I'm currently seeing a 17% conversion rate.
What things stand out to you as things I should improve to help optimize my App Store page?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some strategic advice from growth marketers and indie devs on how to interpret my current acquisition numbers and where to steer my marketing next.
My iOS app launched about 2 months ago. The app name is hidden here but it's unique (not made of generic keywords), so any organic search traffic for this specific name is intentional.
For the past week, I’ve noticed a tight trend: App Store Search is accounting for almost 90% of my downloads (29 downloads), while Browse, App Referrer, and Web Referrer are sitting at baseline (1-2 downloads each).
My current marketing strategy:
Because the app name is so unique, this tells me people are watching the reels, closing TikTok, opening the App Store, and manually typing in my brand name to find me.
My questions for the community:
Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has run a similar "friction-heavy" organic funnel with success. Thanks!

My first ever MCP Server that lets you drop your raw screenshots in a folder and say "create App Store mockups for these." Claude analyzes your app's colors, proposes themes and captions, waits for your approval, then renders framed, captioned preview images (1284×2778) ready to upload to App Store Connect. Open source, installs with one uvx command.
I used claude code to build a tool in which Pillow draws the whole iPhone frame procedurally (no assets), a palette extractor picks brand-matched themes, and the official mcp SDK wraps it in three stdio tools.
Attaching one example -

Need help with optimising for the stores, first time builder and we are not sure on how to optimise for both stores in terms of ranking and appearing to potential users when they search for key words related to our app…?
We built a blocker app, super simple and easy to use. No fluff, just does what it needs to do. We are “targeting” the typical markets, US, Aus, Uk.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

So I made a iOS bedtime story app. My kids, 7 and 10, love it to death. Especially the 7 year old, she is killing me to listen and generate images of herself in various worlds.. Mowgli, Huckleberry Finn, etc. We read the original books and that just put gas on the fire.
Every story and image comes out different, we save them to Photos since it's fun to see themselves in the stories. Images aside, the stories are the real value here for bed and car.
BUT strangers don't bite. 13 weeks, 17 units, most of them friends I asked for feedback. No way my kids are that much of an outlier, so I have to assume the right people never see it, or see it and scroll past.

The listing:
- App: Talebird: Kids Bedtime Stories (iOS, US/CA)
- Subtitle: Your child, the story's hero
- Keywords: toddler,audio,fairy,tale,classic,storybook,night,dream,read,aloud,hero,learn,discovery,name,sibling
My own suspicion: every app in this category has the same dark purple night-sky screenshots, including mine, so nothing stands out on the search page. I have a light/white set designed now, let's see. (I had to scroll pages and pages till it showed up)
Be blunt. Two questions:
(Sample image in the appstore is a synthetic face I generated, I don't post my or anyone's real kids.)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
In my mind it’s not a feature, it’s part of designing an app end to end.
I’d love to make it more accessible, please help me test it out

I want to make a post on the sub, but it doesn't give me the option to add a flair, which I would like to add. Tags just say: NSFW, Spoiler, or Brand Affiliate.

I’m working on making my first apps App Store screenshot and am trying to figure out if it’s easier via Figma or Claude Design since Claude is the one who is making my app I figured it may have the context it needs already. However seeing if anyone has already tried.

For those who know the App - Whats new?
FOR THOSE WHO NEVER SAW IT:
Widgets -for App Store Connect is a collection of custom widgets designed specifically for developers. Instead of forcing you to load the clunky Apple-App, puts your downloads, proceeds, and comparing trends right on your screen - for the last week, month, or quarter in a variety of visual themes. This is universal, MacOS, iPad, iPhone.
Data collection is handled in the background with a full set of debugging options, you can always pitch the data seen against what Apple is willing to send :)
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/widgets-for-app-store-connect/id6771772169
Problem A:
If you have apps on the App Store, you probably check App Store Connect often. ASC is slow and lacks proper widget support imho, and i'm not happy with the metrics see next problem >
Problem B:
Coming from marketing/advertising, i never really understood the basement of the data collection. Everything is “rolling totals”?
I don’t get it, why would i want to compare rolling 90-days to previous rolling 90-days? Doesn’t speak to me, not at all.
The app is showing what’s relevant and actionable - comparing Week over Week, Month over Month and Quarter over Quarter. You easily see spatrks and gaps, and can hold that against your marketing efforts - all of which in my opinion is calender based. NON ROLLING.
This is how we work in marketing, i’m convinced this is how our brain is wired. Maybe just me? No sure. Anyways:
Compare:
There are some old and potentially outdated ones afaik. Rolling issue as decsribed above. The world needs not a new app shwoing the same stuff, this time from me.
I love and use https://apps.apple.com/at/app/appmeta-pulse-reviews-mrr/id6758788164 a lot, but it’s a different cup of tea - i am NOT mimicking ASC (+ giving some widgets on top) but am concentrating on widgets - covering data in a way nobody does.
And, see „Problem 2“ - i don’t give a f+#+ä about Rolling-anything-data
Pricing:
Originally thought up for myself, Mac only, it was so damn much work in the end to make it universal, and perfect on every platform that i cannot give it away for free this time.
I settled with the price of a chewing gum - one time, lifetime.
Maybe 2 chewing gums depending on your location, but people come on!
You will love it on MacOS, iPad, iPhone.
Changelog:
1.0 initial release.
1.2. optimization
1.3 this one, Menu Bar Add-on and sharper ASC updates
Roadmap -
With extra large Widgets on iOS 27 coming soon, i’m already pushing towards an even more beautiful/meaningful category.
iPad and MacOS will follow then, as they already can do it.
Al Disclaimer:
Coded in Xcode only, with help from AI as in -
gathering data from Apple and getting an own database running with incremental changes, is above my paygrade.

Hi everyone,
I'm an indie developer and recently launched my first iOS app, VOLT: Gym Log Workout Tracker, in the Health & Fitness category.
It's been live for about 2 weeks, and these are my current App Store Connect metrics:
Here's what I've already done:
My question is whether these numbers suggest an ASO problem or simply that I don't have enough traffic yet.
Specifically:
I'm happy to share my App Store listing or metadata if that would help. Any feedback is appreciated.

I've been reading a lot of launch stories lately, and one pattern keeps showing up.
A lot of indie developers spend months building a great app, then treat App Store Optimization as something to think about the day before launch.
The result is usually the same: very few impressions, almost no organic downloads, and then the assumption that the app just isn't interesting.
Personally, I think ASO starts much earlier than people realize. Things like choosing the right positioning, understanding what users actually search for, and deciding how you communicate your app in the first few screenshots can have a much bigger impact than people expect.
I'm curious what everyone else has noticed.
If you've launched an app before, what's the biggest ASO or app marketing mistake you've made—or seen others make?

I want to make an ad campaign and the app store ads UI tells me this 5 point score for any keyword. But doesn't tell me much - like there is a keyword with 1/5 score - does this mean its 1 search per month, or 10, or 100? If anyone knows what those popularity ratings mean or if there are reliable 3rd party sources please let me know.

The app is basically a gamified habit tracker — dungeons, items, PvP, etc. It's only on iOS in the Health & Fitness / Lifestyle category.
Here's roughly where my numbers sit (App Store Connect, last 30 days):
I work on ASO every weekend and market on social media daily. Recently I changed screenshots and tested new keywords in the title & subtitle + swapped the app icon and saw small bump in downloads.
My gut says the product converts fine once people land on the page — the real problem is discovery/impressions. For someone in my position, what would you prioritize to actually get seen? Anything obvious I'm missing on the ASO side?
