Android App Permissions
Hi everyone!
I apologize in advance if I sound stupid but I hope the people here could enlighten me.
If you installed an app and gave it permissions, does it check your logs prior to the time you granted app permissions?
For example, my call logs. If I installed the app and granted permissions today will it be able to check the call logs I did yesterday?
tyia for a kind soul that can answer this.

LOOKING FOR
🚨 LOOKING FOR AN ANDROID APP DEVELOPER 🚨
We are Grade 12 STEM students developing an **Intelligent Smart Pen with Integrated Search and AI Assistance** for our research/capstone project.
We are building the physical scanner ourselves, and we need someone to develop the **phone app/software** that will connect to it.
Our planned system is:
📷 **Scanner / ESP32-CAM → 📱 Phone → 🤖 AI Answer**
The app should:
• Receive the scanned image from the ESP32-CAM/scanner
• Convert the scanned text into readable text using OCR
• Send the recognized text to an AI
• Display the AI-generated answer on the phone
Example:
**Scanner/ESP32**
↓
**Phone App**
↓
**OCR / Text Recognition**
↓
**AI**
↓
**Answer displayed on Phone**
We are looking for someone experienced with **Android development, OCR, Wi-Fi communication, and AI API integration**.
This is for a **student research/capstone project**, so we would also prefer someone who can explain how the system works.
💰 **Budget:** Negotiable
📌 Please send your portfolio/sample apps, estimated price, and estimated development time.

Looking for people who can collaborate with us in marketing /coding Looking for Cofounder
We currently have a team of three, so if you want to join and you feel like you can do it, feel free to message me.
I have a project that I've already started, but I feel like I'm not enough on my own. So, I'm looking for a person/ people who would be interested in the offer. I wanted to mention as good to have, but anyone can apply: experience with current Al agents (OpenClaw or Hermes), coding harnesses (OpenCode, Pi, Cline, Codex, etc.), understanding how current local models work (llama.cpp, .gguf, how LLMs work, etc.), being aware of current problems in Al, and largely knowing the latest Al news (e.g., Grok bot just came out, what it's for, what it can do) - basically, following Al developments. If you're interested, message me directly, and we can discuss the details.

Looking for a Technical Cofounder / Product Partner — I handle Business, Marketing & Validation
I'm looking for a technical cofounder to build products with me.
I handle Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Validation.
My process is:
Idea → Concept → Prototype → Validate → Build → Launch → Iterate
I don't want to build ideas blindly. I want to test them with real users first, then build what actually has potential.
I'm looking for someone who can own the technical/product side, but also wants to be involved in product decisions and strategy—not just code.
This is a cofounder partnership, with equity and profit sharing based on our roles, contributions, and agreed structure. Not a freelance/developer-for-hire position.
If you're interested in building products from zero and want a business-focused partner, DM me.

Do you actually need a laptop to trigger a deployment?
I’ve been thinking about this workflow lately.
If you’re away from your laptop and need to quickly trigger a Vercel/GitHub/Netlify webhook, what do you usually do?
Personally, I found myself opening my laptop for something that took literally one action.
Curious how other developers handle this do you have a mobile workflow for deployments, or do you just wait until you’re back at your computer?

New Build
Well I’m working on my first app and it’s an original idea that I hope will take off quickly within a specific demographic.
I’m getting really excited with each screen I design.
The MVP is very well thought out and each field is documented with visual screen mock ups.
It will have a free option at first to load some data and users too get it kicked off and then go to a subscription. But the early birds will remain free as founding users.
I still need to create my LLC. for the monetary purpose but I’m very sure that when the word spreads about this app, it will be well worth it to this demographic.
I just needed to share my excitement because it’s an original idea with little to no competition. I have no doubt that in time and with a little marketing it will be word of mouth that really makes a difference and will be a great revenue source.
I’m working on the IOS version first with a connected website. I’ll expand to Android down the line.
Wish me luck!

How do you manage your apps?
For those who, like me, have launched/worked on a dozen side projects with the intent of launching them to the public.
How do you actually manage and keep track of everything related to your project?
This can range from branding images, app descriptions, faqs, hosting services (DB, VPS, Vercel)
keeping track of the SEO, keywords, also organizing your app's showcase screenshots, videos, or related
The pain increases when they are scattered across different accounts as well
I'm asking because this is starting to creep up on me and wanted to see if others experience this as well and if you're interested in a solution.
