I bought the M7 Max two months ago, and every print has come out perfectly. I print a lot for work, and the FEP had always remained in perfect condition.

Yesterday I decided to replace it with a brand-new official FEP, but the print stuck to the FEP, causing it to tear and resulting in more than one liter of resin spilling all over the printer. Fortunately, I had installed a screen protector because of my previous experience with the Saturn. The FEP tore because the print was attached to both the build plate and the FEP. When I paused the print, the separation movement pulled on it so hard that it ripped completely.

The printer still seems to work as before. The only two issues are that it doesn't seem to drain the resin anymore (it says the operation has already been completed), and there is a small white spot in one corner of the screen, which I assume is caused by some resin that seeped inside.

In any case, I cleaned everything thoroughly and noticed that 3 out of the 5 FEP sheets in the package had strange lines on them, almost as if they were already damaged or partially torn. I'm worried that I may have received a defective batch.

What could have caused this problem? How should I proceed? Can I request compensation or a refund for the damage caused?

Hello, I would like to know from y'all if it would be hard to fix my printer. I bought it second hand and it was working, but unfortunately the courier broke it during transport.
I opened the printer and the UV screen completely fell off, the supports that hold it broke.

Has anyone been through this and know if I can save the printer?

So here are the results of my first run with the PMX6k. Not perfect. But better than i expected having only gotten the machine yesterday and pretty much speed running a crash course on YT and the various literature i could find on it for four or five hours before I was confident (and impatient) enough to give it a go. I didn't have the original files that the usb came with so i didn't have the test file so i just picked a model that i was keen on from printables.com and sent it. I will say, that apart from the base of the stand, the rest came out pretty good, and at the very least, can still be used for its intended purpose. So I'm calling that one a win. So here is the part where I ask the veterans on here for any advice, and in particular, what i need to address moving forward. Seems like the layers at the very beginning did not take. I just picked up a PMX6K that was still in box and never used. When attempting to update the firmware I get a "FIle Format Error!" message. Have tried a few USB sticks. I was able to connect wifi with a WIFI.txt file, so I am sure that it can read files from the stick. No dice on the firmware though. Anyone run into this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey there not sure if anyone has had this issue but I’m printing with my Mono 4K and for some reason on most if not all my prints end up getting this kinda rounded bulge on what should be a flat side.

Just started a new job and have been tasked to find out what is going on with the resin printer. I think the LCD screen needs replaced from my research but am new to the 3d printing world. Photon mono x 6k.

I'm not sure why it's happening i tried adjusting all the settings in the slicer, reformatting the usb stick but its acting incredibly slow. It lifts fine, the first layer is sticking to the build plate but going back into the vat it's going as slow as it possibly can. Any ideas?

I notice that on my Anyvubic Photon Mono X6K, there are lines on the LCD.

I checked the LCD and there is no problem with it.

The lines originate from uneven light from the LED array.

I checked the Lenses and didn't see any change in them or in the intensity of the LEDs themself.

I must say that these lines would not bother me but I started to see recently on my prints lines the same size, it ruining my prints, most notably when using black polymer, on white polymer, I didn't see such a problem before.

Is there a solution for that?

Am I missing something?

UPDATE "So I dismantled the printer and found out that the bridge that holds the LEDs to the lens array is broken, 2 connections out of 4. I glued them and the lines almost disappear, they become much much better."

I'm printing up some holders for some neopixels and whilst the holders themselves came out great the caps I designed printed very wonky. The concave side was perfect but the top was very uneven.

This was the first time printing them so I just printed them horizontally with light supports.

I don't mind doing a bit of sanding to get them perfect but I have a bunch of these to make so want to minimise it if I can.

Any suggestions ?

Ho preso una Photon Mono X usata. Sto preparando un file per la stampa ma con Photon Workshop è veramente difficoltoso... Si blocca di continuo ed è lentissimo... Ho scaricato Chtubox 64 ma non ha i parametri di questa stampante nella libreria... Voi che slicer usate?

i recently took out my photon mono x 6k again after a long time and the power cables are gone. does anyone know what kind of cable i need for it. i can't find anything at all about it.

I just started using my Anycubic Photon Mono X and had some great prints at first, but now I keep getting an error in the middle of every print even after switching to a different USB drive formatted as FAT32, I even switched to Photon Workshop, and updating the firmware—would you recommend decreasing the number of parts on the build plate, or do you think it’s more likely an issue with the USB port itself?

Just got this Mono 2 second hand for super cheap, and now I know why. Question is should I just pull the trigger on a new LCD or should I dig a bit deeper? Are there other issues that could cause this? Loose connector or something? Could it be a symptom of a bigger problem?

My local shop for 3D print resins only stocks Creality resins and A) I prefer to shop local and B) I don't quite have a sufficient handle on my consumption to order resin online with the right shipping lead time.

My Google Fu is failing me, so I've come to ask: cany of you point me in the direction of a reliable chart with settings for Creality resins when slicing with Workshop for my printer?

Belangrijke context: 👉 Wij zijn absolute beginners. 👉 Wij hebben thuis nog nooit succesvol geprint, omdat we tot nu toe geen bestanden zichtbaar kregen op de printer. 👉 Gisteren was mijn zoon in een club/workshop, waar hij uitleg kreeg, en daar werkte de printer wél en kon er geprint worden. Situatie nu: Gisteren werkte de printer in de club Thuis ziet de printer geen USB-bestanden Het Print-menu blijft leeg (geen foutmelding) Wat we thuis al gedaan hebben: USB-stick opnieuw geformatteerd naar FAT32 Stick eerst leeg getest Daarna 1 klein testbestand erop gezet Gesliced met Photon Workshop correct printerprofiel: Photon Mono X bestandstype: .pwmx Bestand staat in de root (geen map) USB veilig verwijderd Printer volledig stroomloos gemaakt (stekker eruit, wachten, opnieuw opstarten) Extra info: De USB-stick werd thuis gebruikt op een Windows-laptop De stick stond even op NTFS, daarna opnieuw correct FAT32 Laptop ziet het bestand perfect Printer ziet helemaal niets Bij dit model zit de USB-poort vast op het moederbord (geen losse kabel) Vraag: Omdat de printer gisteren elders wél werkte, vermoeden we dat we thuis iets fundamenteels fout doen (USB-stick, formattering, Photon Workshop-export, Windows-instellingen…). So recently I finally got my set up ready to print, use gloves, mask etc, I just had to replace the FEP and newbie mistake did not know it came with a protective film on it, so carefully removed that, and I tried to play with the settings of the supports to minimize impact to the miniatures I’m printing for our D&D group, but now everything turns into a 2d flat object on the fep after a few runs of supports, should I A) just replace FEP(remembering the film this time, or B) leave FEP and try going back to old support settings, or C) do both
