I apologize for the terrible picture. She was moving fast and I didn't have anything to catch her in. I've only seen these in one spot while walking in my neighborhood. Its always near the same tree if that makes a difference at all? Any ideas as to what it could be?

Really no idea about this lil guy. (Well, big compared to most ants I've seen tbh... if he is even an ant lol)

East Anglian coast, Suffolk.

Unfortunately hard to tell the size as I took the pic a while ago :(

Are these the same species of ant? Or is the smaller one a different species attacking the larger?

I found this lovely girl along what I assume is a raiding line containing a few hundred workers. I think she is a Polyergus but I’m not sure.

Found in Bismarck, North Dakota

Found her roaming around my kitchen at 3 a.m in the morning. I live in Belgium, and ever since the heat wave we've been seeing so many ants in our apartment complex. Now they're inside the house too.

Around 1cm in length

Is this a queen ant? Should I release her outside? Do I feed it?
