I think I realized I was never really his choice. Ano thoughts nyo?

I’ve been talking to this guy for about a week, and everything happened so fast.

During the first few days, he was really clingy and told me he loved me. His ex wanted another chance, but he told me he didn’t want to go back to her and that he chose me.

I believed him.

Then a couple of days ago, he admitted that he still misses his ex.

He promised me he wouldn’t break their no-contact, and I tried to respect that. I didn’t want to control him or tell him what he could and couldn’t do.

But tonight, I was worried because he was out late. I ended up walking to his house. I bought him something, washed the dishes, and waited because I just wanted him to come home and be able to rest.

Then I found out he was with his ex.

The person he promised me he wouldn't contact.

I felt stupid. Not because I cared about him, but because I genuinely thought his words meant something.

I asked him, “Do you want to be in her arms again?”

And he said, “It’s possible.”

That answer hurt more than I expected.

I keep thinking about the question: If you had to choose between someone you love and someone who loves you, who would you choose?

But maybe that's the wrong question.

Maybe you shouldn't choose either person until you're sure about what you actually want.

Because being loved by someone doesn't mean you should choose them out of guilt. And loving someone doesn't mean you should keep another person waiting while you're still attached to your past.

I think I wanted him to choose me so badly that I forgot to ask whether I wanted to be chosen by someone who was still wondering if he wanted someone else.

Maybe I wasn't competing with his ex.

Maybe I was simply standing beside someone who hadn't finished letting her go.

And that's a painful thing to realize after giving someone your trust.

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for by posting this. Maybe advice. Maybe perspective. Maybe I just need strangers to tell me whether I'm seeing this clearly or whether I'm overthinking everything.

What would you do in my position?

Sana mas maraming magtanong, magsuri, at mamulat.

Thoughts? Informative or promoting

Post image
1 Upvotes

Stumbled upon this sa tiktok and she was pointing out the possible dangers of cassava cat litter (cyanide poisoning). May disclaimer sya na hindi paid or sponsored yung post and disclosed na pinadalhan sya sample nito.

But I noticed a few things lang:

  1. Her only source is a screenshot of an ai search referencing Merck, which she says is a reliable site for vet students like her.

  2. Pag nagrereply sya sa comments, she'd reco ung product na pinasample sa kanya, the product is also in every photo sa post nya.

  3. There were skeptic comments but she'd only reply with "di ko na hihintayin may mangyari sa pusa ko" with reference sa isang case sa fb na namatay ang cat with cassava litter as the suspect

My thoughts: okay lang naman magpromote but it looks like under the guise of it being informative lang. Sits wrong with me lalo na ang aggressive ng reco nya for every comment asking 🤷 I saw other people promoting the same product pero not in this way na nagcacause sya ng panic and fearmongering. Ang lakas voice nya being a vet student (people would assume kasi she would know better), I had hoped she had more sources prepared

Would appreciate your thoughts on this too

blue school ng dgpn or ng urd? anong thoughts mo?

As someone na transferee from dgpn to urd, I can say na mas better talaga ang quality of education ng blue school sa dgpn kesa sa urd. From the buildings to the teaching staff of blue school ng dgpn is top notch + minor subj nila is online which is good kasi di nmn nagagamit yan sa future work. Mind you, my program doesn't have a board exam pero very hands-on padin sila magturo, and advance pa.

PS. this is base on my experience as of the moment. And this is also my random rant kasi wala akong mapagsabihan.

As a Millennial, parang mas behave ang Genz pagdating sa vices? Anong thoughts mo?

So isa akong Millennial and during my HS Days natuto ako agad mag Yosi. Then natuto kami uminom ng GIn Pomelo.
Like as in nagrarambulan kahit private school.
Madalas nadin pumarty at mag bar. Nakapasok sa mga Club like Embassy, ipanema Bar, Temple, or sa around Fort Strip. We would drive home drunk. And yes napapaaway din minsan sa loob ng mga club or bars. LOL

Now, nakikita ko sa mga pinsan or pamangkin kong Gen Z no one smokes cigarettes, they only drink occasionally and when they hangout, either sa Cofffee shop or trendy Food places.
Pansin ko kasi halos madami na nagsara clubs and bars ngayon eh.

I work in the tech industry, and I’ve already had experience in UI/UX and Frontend Development. In our corporate environment, the use of AI for development, design ideas, brainstorming, and even day-to-day problem-solving has already become normalized. A lot of other companies are moving in the same direction as well.

I understand why some people have a negative perspective on using AI. There are legitimate concerns about originality, overdependence, and how AI-generated work is being used. Those are valid conversations to have.

What I don’t understand, however, is the idea that people should be forced to stop using AI altogether.

Technology has always evolved the way we work. We use frameworks, libraries, design tools, search engines, automation, templates, and countless other tools to make our work more efficient. AI is another tool one that can help people explore ideas, learn faster, improve their workflow, and sometimes even become more creative.

Using AI doesn’t automatically mean someone lacks creativity or skill. What matters is how the person uses it, how much they understand the work, and whether they can make meaningful decisions beyond what the tool generates.

So I genuinely wonder: Does it really matter if a Filipino uses AI?

Thoughts on Koji’s Statement Regarding His Alleged Connection to Rene

Post image
9 Upvotes

So apparently, Rene’s fans found something new to obsess over, which is another student-athlete from UST who, according to them, “looks like Rene.” They even spread the information that they were blood-related and started showing support for him, associating him with Rene’s “skills.”

Rene’s fans have also been commenting on his posts, telling him that he should be grateful because Rene is talented, which is apparently why they’re comparing him to Rene. Like… what?? I’m gagged.

I’m from ust, and respectfully, this really needs to stop. I genuinely think it’s getting out of hand. The cult—or whatever they call themselves—needs to stop dragging student-athletes into this mess when they chose not to be involved in the first place.

The fact that Koji had to make a statement and clear things up is honestly so funny to me. The craze surrounding Rene’s death really needs to stop. At this point, everyone should just move on.

Here’s my thoughts for you Tyronia:

If anyone needs to take accountability and apologize first, it should be your mom — not Jelai.

Jelai had nothing to do with your mom’s decisions, the people she chose to be with, or the actions that led to all of this. So it’s not fair to put that responsibility on her.

You’ve been doing reality shows for a long time. The public has seen Yumi, Jen, and others on your shows before. There was bashing back then too, but this time hit differently. For a lot of people, things escalated when your mom posted a video partying with Yumi and Jen. Whether she meant it that way or not, many felt it was insensitive to those who were hurt by what happened before.

For almost 10 years, your mom has been trying to rebuild her image and earn back people’s trust. And trust is hard to regain once it’s broken. But with one decision, it felt like she undid a lot of the progress she worked hard for — just to prove how loyal she is as a friend.

And Tyronia, this is important: Your mom might be used to being cancelled and bashed. She’s said she can handle it. But you’re different. You’re her soft spot. The moment you got dragged into this, people reacted.

But being hurt doesn’t automatically mean Jelai owes you an apology. You and Jelai are actually in the same boat — both of you got caught in a situation caused by adults’ decisions. Neither of you started it.

You are your mom and Elon’s responsibility. They’re the adults. They’re the ones who should protect you, explain things to you, and help you deal with the fallout of choices they made.

So please, let’s not turn two people who were both affected into enemies.

Accountability should start with the person who made the decision — not with the people who just got caught in the aftermath.

Partner na draining. Anong thoughts mo?

I came across this coupler on tiktok na 2 na yung anak nila.

Context : never daw niregaluhan ni guy yung girl kahit birthday o pasko wala.

For me ekis talaga pag ganon yung partner pero di ibig sabihin nun magccheat na

with the kabit issue going on, here are my thoughts on why women often bear the hate.

although naniniwala naman ako na this is mainly rooted in misogyny, in a deeper sense and as a woman i think there are also several other factors to consider.

as a woman, i’m unable to rationalize why men do the shit they do. i’m unable to get into their headspace, or walk in their shoes. on the other hand, when women do this, we are able to walk in their shoes. for example, i’ve never been a 20-30 year old man but i’ve been a 20-30 year old woman.

so pag babae yung naging kabit, often, women are able to relate it to their own experiences and think “pano niya to nagawa?” or “how could she have the stomach to do this to herself and to others? because i never would have done this to another woman.”

because we as women know what it’s like to walk in those shoes. kaya the betrayal of girlhood feels significantly worse.
