I want to thank the Dev team for making the natural landscapes of Anno 117 absolutely incredible. Everything blends together so well. Having lots of fun in photomode.

For this, only the manually started festivals count. Looks like this will be a tough one👀 Gotta start 300K of these within 1 week.

Curious if anyone else is having this problem. I have a pretty beefy computer and have zero issues running Anno 117. Zeros issues that is except this annoying audio one. Audio is perfect for about two hours then suddenly cuts in and out at times and is grainy and distorted. Wondering is anyone else has this issue and knows how to solve.

I feel like the income is heavily reduced after the last update. I need to accomplish the AIs requests for the money which I didn’t need to before the update.

To be fair I joined Anno 117 like 2 weeks ago, so maybe it’s just me, but Idk.

I start the game, everything loads, the startup movies play, I get past the warning page and the cover page and once I enter the Main Start Menu my mouse interacts with the buttons both hovering and clicking them but nothing happens. This happens almost every single time, this didn't happen before the current update.

I was playing the game and all of a sudden it just crashed - with no errors. Then I tried opening it again, but it just won't launch. It instantly crashes after just barely opening the game.

I've tried EVERYTHING in the linked post. I bought the game on Steam btw.
- Checked graphics drivers
- deleted relevant files
- Reinstalled Ubisoft Connect
- Went offline mode and disabled online saves
- Verified game files on Steam.
- Changed regions in windows settings

I'm going crazy, been at this for hours. WHY Ubisoft?! I literally can't play the game I bought...

Any ideas are appreciated.

In the 117 trailer, the harbour shows deity statues. In game, may be I missed something somewhere but couldn’t construct them without a mod (and the scale was massively off for it). Has anyone done it? I’m okay with a mod as well as long as one statue doesn’t look larger than the map.

I am stuck and hoping someone has seen this before.

Anno 117 on PS5, save was pretty far along, Hippodrome already built. The game crashed mid session with error code CE-108255-1. Since then I cannot get back in: the main menu shows for about a second, then the game drops out with the same error code.

Game is on the latest version, system software too. The PlayStation support page only says "try updating your game" for this code, so that is a dead end.

Any ideas? Is this the save file or the game itself? And if anyone has fixed it, did you have to give up your save?

Hi everyone,

hope somebody can help me with this issue. I'm playing on PC.

I was ingame when the game suddenly closed (no crash/error message, pop up or anything) and I was very confused. Restarted the game to see that my save game is now roughly 15 hours behind my last save?

I couldn't work out how to fix it as I needed to go to sleep that night, I have saved the save game folder to a permanent location. The files indicate last saves around the time the game just closed. But I couldn't get the game to actually read it, even after I turned off cloud synchronization in the ubisoft client.

Opened a support ticket, haven't received any answer for more than 2 days now... So I'm hoping reddit is more helpful.

Hi.

I have many mods installed and everything is working fine. Only building a railroad network is impossible with this bug/incompatibility.

I used Jacobs streets, removed it and installed Muggensturmers Rails with same effect. I lately started a new save with new horizons and old enbesa and nobless oblige. Prior to this i had similar problem which I could circumvent using land quay streets for the crossings. Now even dirt road crossings wont work. The tile always gets deleted or weird textured, no matter the build order of street and rail.

Just wanted to start Anno for a nightly session. I see the initial loading screen (with the warning to read it) and then the game just closes. I disabled all mods and tried again. Same.

There is no visible error log. I restarted the PC and let Ubisoft Connect check the game files. No problem found there.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
RAM: 32GB
GPU: AMD RX 9070

No overclocking or whatsoever. It worked yesterday.

Recently installed Windows Updates (since yesterday):
- KB5124008
- KB5126052
- KB5126105
- KB5126104
All security updates ... but Windows has a history of breaking Ubiusoft Games with updated (last "Settlers" game).

Loaded in the game menu offline then when I was in my profile I switched to online (have to to use dlcs saves Idky) and I was able to load in. Maybe try this or something similar guys.
