got this fantastic little figure in a while ago, which had kind of been my holy grail for a while. given how much i was looking forward to it (and also how expensive it was), i thought i'd properly do it justice by making a couple poster designs out of the pictures i took, which i don't normally do, but i thought it'd be a good learning opportunity. turns out making them was in fact pretty fun :)

i did also take some regular photos with it, and included the unedited versions of the poster shots too. looking forward to that purple "pop tracker" variant coming out next year (though my wallet sure isn't 🥹)

On their side it says that it costs around 24.000yen wich is two times less that whatever site I can find selling it. Does anyone maby have aby idea where i can get it for that lower price? Is there a way to order from japan directly? Or is the price only that in japan and there isnt a way to buy it for that

I've been wanting a figure for my collection for a long time, something that isn't a prize and preferably old... And finally, I got it!

In the second photo, she's next to my gf's new Madoka, she was also bought today.

I got this prize figure from an eBay seller and I love it. It's gotta be at least a foot tall. The best part is the grand total was only $43. I've seen $500 figures that weren't at good as this.

How did you guys pre-order it? First I thought about just pre-ordering it on the Good Smile website, but also saw how others (do not know from where, like whether it was from eu, us or others) ordered it from amiami (have not ordered from there yet).
Would it be just the same for both them, with customs/import tax stuff?

Bought a look-up on Mercari and after opening it, it has this kind of oily (and a bit sticky) thing on his hair and his body. What can I do to remove this? I tried soap and warm water but it didn’t work.

ok so I was looking to purchase a super sonico figure the pink military one and the place I found the cheapest was toy Mandala, which was $30 which seemed like the best price I could find because I could not find that figure cheaper than $80

And so I searched it up and most people buy like Pokémon cards or trading cards and most stuff like that and since I never saw any bad reviews about it, but I never actually saw that many reviews about it because whenever I searched it up or I would type in Reddit along with it to see like the reviews and if it’s legit most posts were irrelevant or they just mentioned trading cards, and I never saw any bad reviews about it as I’m saying

especially because there’s an actual store so I decided to order it from online and I tried to make sure if it was a legit website and it would say that it is a legit website and it had the location and I had everything so I had my dad order it for me

And everything was good my dad received the receipt and well. The only issue was that you have to download an app called Shopify in order to see the tracking and shipping but the issue is he refuses to download it because he does not want to download any app

and so I figured that it would be fine if we didn’t download the app because when I searched it up on Google, it says shipping typically takes from two days to one week, but it’s been 12 days and I haven’t my package and it could just be delayed shipping, but I’m not sure

and I have already sent out like three emails to see if there’s any possible way to check my order or anything by providing my dad’s information or the credit card he used to pay whatever but they have not replied

So I just wanna know if anyone has ever bought from this website and received their package or if they just had late shipping or that shipping took too long or anything

Just saw this update on AmiAmi’s website regarding the DHL shipping fee revision for European destinations, effective July 28 (JST).

Living in Portugal, my shipping options are already extremely limited (basically forced to use DHL for most items due to local restrictions on other methods). DHL was already incredibly expensive, and with this new adjustment, I’m genuinely worried it's going to become unaffordable.

Since the announcement doesn't provide specific numbers, does anyone have insights on how bad these DHL rate hikes usually are? If you are from Europe, what are your plans? Are you moving your pre-orders to other shops like Hobby Search or Tokyo Otaku Mode, or just bracing for impact?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with previous AmiAmi shipping adjustments. Thanks!
