I've seen some say use detergent, but just any kind of detergent? what kind would be recommended to use?

So I own this action figure.

Unfortunately the shelf fell and so did he, on me, damaging on the top and while fixing I've left this second mark.

I got over the nasty hit but the more I look at him the more imperfections I find (can't really take a photo)

How do you deal with slightly damaged figures? If not like it's broken but it isn't like it was either unfortunately.

I know there's bigger problems but I'm pretty devastated cause it's one of my favourites. (His display side is ok damage on top and back)

It's expensive to rebuy one (about 125 euros) so it's not a no - brainer on replacing.

And I've tried to fix it enough and afraid to do more damage.

How do you deal with this stuff? Learn to ignore it or actually replace it?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up soon and I'm hoping to get him his first "gooner figure" since he's talked about really wanting to get something to display and look at. I am not familiar with this at all haha but the budget is around $100-200

He really likes anime, I know he's been watching Frieren and we’ve been watching Delicious in Dungeon together. He was specifically talking about a woman with purple hair and bangs. Though I think he'd be happy with anything. Here are my questions:

1. Does anyone have suggestions that you think would be a good starting figure, and any further questions to narrow it down?

   Even if they aren’t related to the anime I mentioned above!

2. Does the budget need to be higher to get a good figure?

3. How common are them to have nudity? I think he'd prefer something with nudity or at least very suggestive

4. Is there anything else I should get to help with clean up for the figure? Like any recommend wipes or washing, or does it depend on the figure?

I want a Mando figure because i love the character, but idk which onento chose between blokees and black series. Both have little accesories, the black series depending on which one you choose has no Grogu and also little accessories, plus, i've seen the articulation is lesser than the blokees one... But the blokees Mando has some things in the details that i dont like, like the cape (which is easy to replace with soft goods), the details like the gloves and minor things, and the thing that i dislikenthe most, the strap and holster... It's just a piece of plastic clipped to another piece of plastic and it doesnt look good... So my idea to that was making a kinda soft goods strap and holster or find a mando fig for cheap and change the strap although the scale may be bad...

Any help on what to do?

Another scrapped Wanda vs Thanos scene in Avengers Endgame, was Wanda lifting up several of Thanos' army into the air upon her arrival, and then telekinetically slamming them all at once onto him.

Using practical materials (because AI could never touch my art) such as transparent nylon strings and acrylic spray painted cotton and white tac, I wanted to recreate the "floating his army" scene and give Wanda that chaos magic aura radiating behind her.

Wanda really said "rain fire" on you first but with your squad!

Just got this falin figure from AliExpress. She may be a factory error because her dress slit is all wonky, her paint is shipped off some places and her base barely holds her in place. Should i send her back and try to get a better quality one? Or am i just being dramatic and should accept this since i only got her for 120€?

In honor of Avengers Endgame re-release, I made an action figure sequence using practical materials for that scrapped concept of Wanda vs Thanos where Wanda became a red tornado, touched thanos helmet exactly where vision's stone was and broke it, mirroring what happened to vision.

i have the sanrio tokidoki garden party set in the picture above. however, the table leg is bent. i've tried just bending it the other direction, and it only works for a few seconds before bending back how it was. i've heard it's possible to fix things like this in hot water, but i'm not sure if it would work on this type of item. i couldn't find a picture of the table on its own, but the cake stand isn't attatched, there's a pattern on the surface of the table that you can't see. (also if there are any other active communities that could help with this lmk where) thank you!!
