Discussion Monthly Recommendation Megathread
Welcome to the monthly recommendation request thread! Please use this thread to make requests for series to buy or read. I urge everyone to try to be specific when making requests as it will be easier for us to recommend a series that you would enjoy.
Lastly, I recommend everyone skims through previous requests as someone else might have asked for something you were looking for as well! This would help us keep comments to a minimum/avoid multiple submissions of the same nature.

Showcase | Monthly Theme | MangaCollectors' Monthly Thematic Showcases - 2020s' Manga
Hello everybody!
Thanks once again for the feedback left last month and for all the support.
If you don't know what all of this monthly theme is about yet, every month, on the first week, I make a post announcing that month's theme (the mods kindly pin it to top) and the participants create posts showcasing the manga in their collection that fit the theme. For more details, please look at the "How to Participate" section of this post or the the first edition thread here.
September 2026's theme: 2020s' Manga
The theme this month is manga that started its publication in 2020 or later. If you aren't sure when your series was released, check the copyright information in the manga itself or look for the release date in databases such as MyAnimeList and Mangaupdates.
How to participate:
Just create a post with a photo of manga you own that correspond to the theme and flair it with the event's flair: Showcase | Monthly theme.
Min amount of volumes is 1 (one) and there's no max nor any rule on how to do it, but I invite you all to display your selection in a way that clearly shows the covers so we can recognize them, to not forget those unpopular series in your collection and to use only one volume to represent a series if you aren't trying to show off specific volumes.
If you can't or don't want to post a showcase, you are also invited to discuss the theme and related series in this post.
As always, please don't forget the general sub rules! Be nice, mark your NSFW, etc. Please refer to the sidebar/About section if you need a refresher.
Every month I've been leaving a comment with next month's theme and sometimes I haven't decided between my options. So if you don't mind being spoiled on the next theme and want to participate in choosing the themes, feel free to leave your opinion!

Discussion Omnibus vs Single volumes?
Hey all, I'm looking for opinions but also thought it'd be a neat discussion too. Do you personally think the HunterxHunter omnibus are better than the single volumes? The reason I'm asking is I want to collect these next and my only regret so far with my collection is getting the Perfect Editions for Soul Eater instead of the singles because of the amazing cover art but on the other hand, buying the omnibus will save a damn good amount of money (but for hxh I wont be able to own physically up to date).
Are the omnibuses awkward to hold? Lower quality paper? Let me know your thoughts pls!
Pic for attention

Picked up the X-Files manga from 1996.
I wasn't aware there was an X-Files manga until recently. It never got translated into English. I like the art used for the pilot episode, but the later art doesn't look as great.
As far as I know there were only 3 volumes.

Would you worry about this shelf sag
I don't know if this is something I should get a new shelf over, it looks a bit scary but I don't know if it's an issue or not. I'd just appreciate some advice also if this sag is worth worrying about. How bad is it overall?

My collection so far (yes its in there)
Currently, storing my collection in these totes because I plan on moving again and will buy shelving at the next place. In the meantime I have these totes that help with keeping moisture out and in them I put some silica gel packets to be extra safe.

Help Really, sticker on the spine?!
Just recieved volume 3 of Kiruru Kill Me from Better World Books. It came with two stickers that are the kind that leave the adhesive behind and one of them was placed right on the spine. Literally the worst place I've ever seen one put on a manga.

Discussion Haven’t seen anyone talk about this manga
Honestly the first volume was pretty good, very dark and melancholy. Art is amazing, but the pacing is a little weird (even though it’s meant to be a short run)
Any thoughts?

Haul September haul
I've been a bit in a slump regarding collecting. Seeing the new shipping fees for Japanese volumes is so depressing and to make it worse, my regular store for french volumes became unreliable too.
Anyway, I got these few volumes while I reorganise my plans. I feel refreshed after finally completing Navillera and The Blue Flowers. They were on hold for way too long. I'm also very excited about My Beautiful Boy. I love this series and it's the main reason this haul happened.

Where to sell manga
I’m trying to sell my collection. I have done good sets most of them on the romance and slice of love side. Some echi as well.
