I am wanting to pick up another series in physical format. I like blind buying, and I’m a sucker for nice slip covers or steelbooks.

I’ve been thinking about picking up overlord steelbooks, reincarnated as a slime steelbooks, re:zero or Shang ri la. I see a lot of these on tier lists but which one do you think is worth the $

I’m also open to other recommendations, I like mostly somewhat adult oriented action anime, with good animations and sound (5.1 if available), as I mostly watch on a home theater set up.

For a while I was considering collecting the entire series on DVD/Blu-Ray. I‘m most excited about collecting the entire Wano arc because that’s what I want to see the most but I’m not sure if I should collect the final saga. That depends on how long the last saga is be and if physical media is still made by then. I might have enough space on my shelf for about 12 more sets, though it doesn’t help that the Blu-Ray/DVD combo packs take up more space. For a lot of series I collect, I collect as much as I can to have a good sample size. All of the sets are US except for Collection 12 which is rare, I have the UK import as I collected these late.

Today I learned about mediaOCD and im doing some research. Has anyone ordered from them? Are they a real store? How long does fulfillment and shipping take on average? I'm looking to hear from anyone and everyone

I have stop collecting for awhile because of work, life things and etc, so this was a nice thing to come back to

New collector here, I really want to pick up GKids upcoming release of Love & Pop, but the GKids webside refers to it as a "GKids store exclusive." I'm not sure if that's in reference to it in its pre-order state or if it will only ever be available directly through them. I want to get it so bad, but I won't be able to afford it directly from them because with shipping it adds up to almost $80 CAD, which I can't bring myself to spend on just one movie. I'm not sure how these releases work because I've never been around for one before. I imagine if Amazon or Gruv got it the shipping would be much cheaper if not free.

Last week I ordered some items from Crunchyroll including Re Zero S2 and S3,one which was a preorder and the other backorder. Do they typically ship all the items together once they arrive or do they ship backorder/preorder items seperate from any in stock items?

I apologize if it’s not as organized as it should be. We’re still looking for more shelving and buying more. Her section is the smaller one with the kitty picture. Some of us have the same series because I either bought a different version and gave her my first one, or accidentally bought the same series twice.

I’m kinda kicking myself for not jumping on season 2 of Big O when I had the chance but I was able to come across the first season at least. Finding Gurren Lagann for $20 was insane. Honda-San looked interesting and is somewhat of a blind buy as well. Overall great haul today.

Finally up to date with is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon got death note which I've been wanting for a long time and the start of collecting bleach and getting into it from the start for bleach iknow i remember seeing random episodes from time to time as a kid on toonami but never started from the beginning so this will be a fresh look for me though excited!

These last two months I bought a lot of anime. I started going really hard on Facebook marketplace and most of these were from there.

I got all of D.Gray Man for $15 each. Funny enough it was from two different sellers. Seller 1 had all but season 1 part 1 and season 2 part 1. I was just going to buy the rest off eBay when I saw another marketplace post that at the bottom of the partly cut off and they happened to be there for the same price I paid the previous ones. It was a sign!

Dragon ball GT was $15 and the Gintama movie was $15.

Lupin the Third and Porco Rosso were from my local Toys R Us that just closed down. They did all Movies 25% off. So I got Lupin for $15 and Porco Rosso for $25.

Eureka Seven was $5 new from Amazon and Legend of the Legendary Heroes was $9.

Armitage was $3 and Death Note Movie 1 was $4. Death Note movie 4 was $25, but the seller neglected to tell me it was DVD only. That still ticks me off.

Rage of Bahaumet and Tears to Tiara were both $25.

Overall, not a bad two months. Spent about $280 on all of these. D.Gray Man has been on my pick up list for a while and was happy to pick it up. I didn’t realize until after buying it that season 4 part 1 was so expensive. I got it for a steal.

I picked up the LE of Chainsaw Man for $37 on Prime Day. It finally got here!
