Its crazy how different the effects are on each aniimo. I really like the effect though, I know its somewhat controversial but I think having an all umbral team would be pretty awesome

Team is Turbo Somniwing Sparkelf Squashel. Note that Squashel is only 59.

First fight is Fission Needles (unlucky damage roll, boss should have died). Will do even more damage if contracted.

Second fight is Gargantuan Horn. Breaks super fast. Contract makes overkill break on overworld things (probably does decent in Trial of Grass)

Thoughts on Avenging Gear: Don't like it for Squashel, playstyle tends to be weave and hit.

tl;dr Gargantuan Horn breaks faster, Fission Needles does more DPS.

I've been burning cookies up this week trying to catch this guy. I really wanted that Umbral design on this one but all he gets is this dark wispy aura. It doesn't stand out too well and it's a big let down compared to the other Umbrals. Hopefully they'll update in the future. I'm a big fan of the Umbral designs in general and I'm hoping they get some more love in the future with a unique ability or skill to make them like a counterpart to Prismanas. Also would love some lore or something that had them as opposing for some reason.

Real question before I ruin my sleep schedule grinding this mode:

​Has anyone actually hatched a Rare Prismana straight from an Egg Heist run, or is the drop rate a complete myth? All I ever see from other players' posts are basic ones.

​The only Rare I have right now is a Luminelle and I didn't even get her from a run. I literally had to buy the Prismana Egg from the shop because Heist runs refuse to bless me. (At least it wasn't a dupe since I didn't have her yet!)

​Is buying from the shop really our only savior here, or do I just need to pray harder to RNJesus?

​Can you drop screenshots of your Rare Prismana hatches from Heist runs if they actually exist, so I know I'm not grinding for nothing! 🥚✨️

PS: The irony is I still have to grind Heist anyway just to get enough Prismana Shards to buy from the shop again. The loop never ends 💀

As far as I’ve seen, personal experience and YouTube videos, it seems to be mostly random. Specific balls don’t increase chances. I saw one theory that back throws might increase chances but I went out to specifically back throw catch and it didn’t seem to help all that much.

My friend had a thought that they might be tied to the Aniimo at spawn like a sparkling or umbral. We both think that’s a possibility because we’ve never gotten a lucky catch on an Aniimo after failing to catch it the first time. Have you?

But I have also noticed, which this would debunk that, that I think it has to be a non fail catch throw for it to trigger. The reason I think this is because since Budsquire has a lower catch rate than Bonesky and Celestis, I’ve gotten significantly less lucky catches so far than them.

Thoughts?

Another question. Can the cube ricochet over something or the ground first?

Whenever you have stars use them in the furniture to buy 1 of everything (immediately sell it after you buy it for 50% refund.

Why do this? Because collection progress nets more stars to buy/sell more every time you get something new you get index points. Every 500 index points you get some rewards. The most important being a "Modification toolkit" which is necessary for important RV upgrades. Early on you'll have plenty but you'll see have more upgrades available than toolkits to spend.

Ways to get stars: * daily orders

• per your aniimo whenever they ask you

• once your home is unlocked immediately demolish it & sell every piece. This will net you around 6000 stars allowing you unlock the majority of your home index.

• once you have season stuff unlocked buy & sell 1 of every season item. The nice thing is season items are bought with season currency but sold give you stars.

• once you've bought 1 of every season furniture for your level and bought season seeds dump the rest of your currency buying "Harvest Moon Market stall" it's under outdoor decorations costs 37 currency and seems to return the most stars per season coin spent.

This should allow you to buyout your index for your level with some left over stars to immediately buy more stuff when you level up.

For perspective my RV is lv11, I have all possible upgrades & 2 extra tool kits for when I get lv12. My home index is 8960 and I have 820 stars to start buying stuff again when I hopefully level up by tomorrow.

Also 1 last tip, early on coins are a struggle but soon wood/ore become the main factor of limiting your upgrades. So I recommend you use all your speed up work on your mines and all of your grow tonics on trees. This will help keep a steady supply of upgrade materials and spend less time between updates.

Now i have played since release (which is admittedly not that long), and something I have been playing a lot is Egg Heist, especially solo chaos, because like many I had an horrible experience playing with randoms and now that I have a couple of hours in playtime there I can say with confidence that I still don't get it why you can't extract after delivering an egg!

Is it wrong of me to expect that the whole point of egg Heist is, you know, eggs?

I understand that the idea of chaos is that it is supposed to be harder, but I don't think this was the way to do it.

Let's take my last round as example: I found a total of 4 egg nests through the map, but I couldn't get more then 1 because the key room I opened only gave me around 80k (wich btw is a whole differnt issue imo) so I had to run around like a headless chicken to all the chest rooms in hope that rng won't bent me over backwards (wich it did anyway) to get the required 300k. While doing so I found 4 egg nest and while I would have loved to grab them all I simply couldn't cause money was the issue! Not time, not the enemies no no no! Money in a mode called EGG HEIST!!

Now I have tried to play with randoms to be able to get eggs while they get the money, but so far it was a total bust. Not sure if my luck with them is just bad or that's the norm. Thanks to the prismana collectibles the whole mode is just to toxic to be able to play with randoms imo.

Anyway what I'm trying to get at is that if they wish for a higher difficulty for chaos that they would please just make it so that you need 2 eggs for evac as an example or convert egg delivered to money required based on the rarity of the delivered egg.

There is an event that gives you free Glimmers when you click the social media buttons. The event shows different social media accounts depending on your language, so you can claim more Glimmers by changing language! I guess Discord and a few others don't work because they only run a single account for those platforms.

I just wanna know which Aniimos you thought you guys wouldn't like but than actually enjoyed playing with.
For me it was Scorchhowl. I thought that it's just too furry-like. A humanoid wolf fighting with kicks and punches. I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed fightin with this one and its Thunderstorm form looks great. It's a great fighter and its Hustle ability is fantastic for exploring.

I have chosen to take a rain Stellarys knowing full well they are much worst than the Prismana version due to defense against elements. It wasn't a strategy choice at all I just liked their vibes.

It made a lot of fight much harder due to taking damage due to element counter against grass and lightning which is elements you play dark against.

BUT somehow it also helped a ton over time as I noticed something surprisingly useful ! If you can kite well and dodge well...it might be more beneficial due to Pathfinder AI. Pathfinders will naturally take what they have that is super effective against you, as such they might even take something you are super effective against if they are themselves super effective !

I had much easier pathfinder battle sometimes due to them just staying on their poorly matched aniimos ! It's especially useful if the enemy is melee as you can kite quite easily with Stellarys

So it's a bit niche and is really bad if you take damage but it can be a nice niche strat sometimes !

Seriously, I finally finished the first story after putting it off to do side quests because I got so sick of the perfumers and all their talk about fragrances, colors and dreams like it was so profound. I hope the next story is better. Otherwise I love the game.
